Attachments Seem to Be Working

I haven't been doing nearly as much work on Charas as I'd like to have been lately, but on the bright side, at least attachments seem to be working again for the forum.

To upload an attachment you have to click the "Additional Options" menu at the bottom of a post to bring the upload box up. We still recommend using Photobucket or ImageShack for your image needs though, as they don't use up server space.

In other news, I am aware that new logins created in the forum won't work in the generators currently - this is something I'm working on and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

There will be a bit of awkwardness in the next couple of days as I attempt to implement an award system. Once it is confirmed to be working, there will be a Sprite-Off to celebrate having the ability to give out awards to people. A sprite-off is basically a set of rounds where people are paired up randomly and given a theme to make a single sprite out of in whatever style they want. People then vote on which of the two is better and the winner advances to the next round until a winner emerges.

There's still some kinks to work out on how this will be accomplished, but in the meantime, you should brush up on your spriting skills if you intend to be dubbed the Best Spriter on Charas.

I'm pretty sure I explained them fairly well in the topic post. You'll be given a theme, you make a sprite, and then you get paired with an opponent.

I get the feeling you're trying to work on a sprite for the contest already, but that's not how it works - you won't be given anything until the contest begins, and then you can start work on your sprite. There are no restrictions beyond that, no special style, you don't need to make multiple poses or anything, just a simple, single sprite.
