Whoa, I never really look at these threads, but this caught my eye. Yeah, the radio only plays Dani California and Snow (Hey Oh) (and on a rare occasion their cover of Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground), which are FAR from RHCP's best. I love RHCP, and although I think those are pretty good, they have much better. Archem, I didn't know you liked RHCP. I thought I'd never see a band you liked that I did too!

Oh and I disagree, gem, I like a lot from Stadium Arcadium, though I agree the older stuff is a lot better (Californication ftw).

Well, did you have homo-sex while doing it? Cause it seems like something a guy who listens to SCISSOR SISTERS would do.

Al, stop being such a music fag. Playing guitar and listening to metal does not make you cool, regardless of what 13 year olds will tell you.

Since this topic has become more of a topic about what music we like to listen to... Anyone listen to the Dropkick Murphy's?

My friend's cousin's friend is the lead singer of the Dropkick Murphy's. Or the guitarist. One or the other, I can't remember. Anyway, I've listened to them, I like em'.

To me there's three bands of Irish punk, as Ive only listened to em.

The Pogues- More Irish with punk influences
Flogging Molly- A pretty good balance or punk and Irish
Dropkick Murphy's- More punk than Irish, maybe a banjo here of there.

Personally, I prefer The Pogues and Flogging Molly, never cared much for Dropkick Murphy's. Speaking of punk, anyone ever listen to the Toy Dolls? Cockney English punk from the early 80's. Funny stuff.
