I went into a two vs. two team ssbm competition and we won second place a couple years ago. It was a really great experience. Practially everyone there was the same as me, hence I made quite a few friends.

You clearly havn't been to Sweden, there used to be LOADS of counter strike tournaments before WoW became popular.
Large warehouses were filled with computers and everyone brought their own computer and the entire place was all "WTF!" "****ing SUXXERS!" "HAXX!!!?!!?" "ZERGS!" ect. It was madness. Don't go there.

My friends have been to some guitar hero and brawl tournaments. But they only used the songs7characters ect that you got from the start. Just to make it even. Complete **** if you ask me, what's the point with a brawl tournament if you can't have a laming Sonic around? And since all my character except a few are unlockable, I wouldn't have much to say in that tournament.

Good luck though, Halo havn't been one of my most liked games though.

I dislike the idea of playing professionally, since there are so many special rules, bans, exceptions, lacking true fun, and boring gameplay. It's become too serious, and it stops being fun. They're fun to watch, and I could prob'ly do quite well for myself in a professional game tournament for most of the games that I play, but would I want to?

Im a SSBM player, but there are noone except for my close friends that play it, and I taught them what they know so they have 0 chance of winning against me, most of us prefer it to Brawl. But there was a small Brawl tourney a while ago, so I went to check it out thinking "Hell the average brawl guy here must be totally worthless compared to an AT practicing melee player". So when I got there I didnt even sign up, the rules were 5 stock 5 minutes, that I can bear. But they only had Wiimotes, no cube controllers allowed and the oldest guy that showed up except for me was 11. I still watched the most of it, and it was all in all so bad, 50% of the matches consisted of Meta Knight spamming his neutral B against another Meta Knight that did the same.

...How can you not use the wiimote? Hold your hands together and its like a gc controller. As far as Brawl to Melee, I prefer heated Brawl combat much more so now that they fixed so many of the old glitches. If I was playing someone and they started wavedashing I'd put the controller down and walk off. I refuse to play with a tourneyfag.
