I love items on, even when they're not in my favor. I was playing my friend, I was Ike he was Snake. I'm charging at him, and the ****er fires off a Nikita. A Box appears RIGHT as I attack him, I burst it open. The box contains a soccer ball. Now, his nikita was timed somehow so that it would hit that ball right as it came out of the box. Simultaneously, a smash ball appears in the top left corner. The soccer ball flies RIGHT INTO THE SMASH BALL, GIVING SNAKE FINAL SMASH. Jaws were dropped, as neither of us could believe the insane luck and fortune that happened. I still won. It was AWESOME.

Pitt's Final Smash summons several cherubs that home in on enemies, right? The homing is still weak--with enough dodging, you can escape them all. With a lot of players on the screen, some will fly to one, one to another, etc. It's a mess; the cherubs just fly off screen in the general direction of one player.

He was referring to the fact that you said " especially in multiplayer."
I may be wrong, but I guess Final Smash are avaiable only in multiplayer.

Never had the chance to try Brawl, I'm still stuck with Melee, but I'd really like to play it. The only thing, though, is that 3 of the characters I used aren't in this one (Dr. Mario, Mewtwo and Pichu) but I would probably get over it.
I also don't really like Final Smash, but this can be set. I would probably try them before removing them, though.

Does anyone have any GOOD experiences with Wifi play? All I have gotten is 1.5 sec delays on everything and that really annoys me.

Wifi is terrible for it. Prpl and I had a few matches a couple of months back. US <-> Sweden = bad.

You need a LAN adapter or something for it to run rather smoothly(as in, some delay) otherwise, expect the game to run in slo-mo and get ready to throw away all your skills 'cuz the delay is gonna make it impossible to sidesep away from attacks and such. Be ready to be brutaly beaten by pikachu's thunder spam and Ike's smash of death.

That's Wifi play unless you play with anyone, it can run "kinda good".

When the Wii was in my brother's room, he'd play wi0fi a lot. I'd come in and see him playing with next to no lag. However, I've never had a lag-free experience.

And all my home's internet-related items are in my room. :\

I can't seem to play anything but timed matches online. Am I missing something?

I heard from a firend you can only play timed matches online, which kinda sucks because it can allow players to just wait and hit the player with high damage %. I guess it's to avoid someone having to wait for other players to finish when he is KO. They could've allowed timed stock matches, though.

Quick matches are timed only. Custom matches have a ton of options that you can set up.
