I tend to discard any non-damaging attack. I'll try not to make this again, though. No point having 4 different damaging attack if I use only one or two.

Yeah. The one annoying thing about having a bunch of non-damaging attacks is when you're on a route and fighting the trainers along the way, and you start to run out of PP for your moves. I mean, I guess you can just run back to the pokemon center to heal up, but who wants to waste time on that? XD

If I ever did play competitively, I'd probably keep more non-damaging moves, though. There are some pokemon that I do keep them on just because they complement their movesets well, but otherwise my party is more geared towards clearing through every trainer in my path as quickly as possible. At least, that's how I've always played pokemon...

Red/blue and the remakes (FR/LG) are the one exception to this. I usually start with Bulbasaur, and I've had a lot of fun putting together teams that take advantage of status effects like sleep. There's just something so awesome about using dream eater.

Archem used Leer.

Seriously, I'm always way under-levelled, so this is pretty much my typical day of playing Pokémon.

It was pretty easy to be underleveled in Platinum.

Well, it just happens. I mean, when I end up fighting foes in their forties, and the only grind material around is in its twenties, it's awfully hard to keep up, level-wise.

This.

Also, Bide + confuse/ affection and paralyze is kinda annoying. You can hit one time and almost kill it then miss the next one and face raw damage.

Speaking of that. Purugly, worst friggin thing so far. Body slam, sweet kiss and attract. Bastard keeps you down for quite some time if you have the jinx of being opposite gender.

Also, Toxic + Protect makes lives easier. Get the toxic, start protecting once every two turns or so and then use attacks to finish it off.

Purugly was lethal in HGSS's 50 cap battle factory. Fake Out (which is pretty painful for a lot of 50 cap pokemon), STAB Body Slam, Attract...combined with its good speed and attack for 50 cap...If I got my mitts on a Purugly, it was practically guaranteed that I'd be both fighting and beating Thornton.

/sigh.....no more battle factory.....

This totally reminds me of a Muse song. Now I have it stuck in my head. ><

Anyway, neat stuff. Love it.

It's pretty good. A bit strange, but good.
Some parts of the tentacles look a bit weird, but other than that, I like it. Especially the eye!
