I don't drive. I must be the only person who doesn't want to drive. Also, there's that whole "lack of faith in my own abilities" thing, and that "paranoia concerning the abilities of others" stuff.

Well, you're not the only one apparently. I also have that lack of faith in my own abilities and that other thing. I prefer to take the bus, that way I'm sure I won't skip any stops, red light or whatever. I'll never be stuck at an intersection thinking "Should I let him pass, or go before" and all that. And the bus can take more than a car if someone doesn't know how to drive and hit it... and it also costs less than having my own car.

Sure, there's always that "waiting the bus at -30°C" and it doesn't always drop exactly where you want to, but I still prefer the bus over a car.

Me too, Archem. The only reason I tried to learn is that I thought I'd be disadvantaged in the future if I couldn't. I couldn't care less about cars and driving.

Oh, so I'm not special? Thanks for making me feel bad, guys.

Nah, but seriously. I tried to learn, and for the most part, I did, but I never got my license, so now I have to hear about it every day until I do something about that. The day I get it, I can't be annoyed by that, but it's not like I'll use it.

There is one good thing with not being able to drive; no one will asks you for a lift. Sure, you could always say no, but that would make you look cheap...

For now, I don't want a car. I'm too stressed and all, so I'm not ready to drive. I may change my mind someday, though... but for now, I'm pretty sure I would fail the test, so I don't plan on taking it any time soon.

I have no need to drive anything, since I live so close to anything important, and feel no need for driving anyway.

Is your house next to a nice motel? Are you neighbour of a "house of adul entertainment"? Then you'll feel the need of a car pretty soon boy.

Dammit, Al beat me to the chocobo...

Anyway, laws here in Sweden are a bit crapped so we are not allowed to take our license untill we're 18.

And I've driven a car sometimes with my dad(like, training) and really, I didn't quite get that kick everyone talks about. It was more like avoiding crazy people on the road while getting from point A to point B.

A chocobo on the other hand would've been awesome. No need to keep the foot on the brake then.

And on a second note: drivers' license isn't scuh a big deal for me, but my parents is on me over and over how it will benefit me once I'm looking for a job.

Eh, nothing yet. I haven't been able to keep a job long enough to get a license, due to school. However, I probably COULD have gotten a permit over the summer, but since I'm about to turn 18 anyway, I figured I'd wait.
