Maybe that's overexaggarating a tiny bit. But basically, for christmas I got an 8800 GS with 382MB RAM which is meant to be great for playing PC
games on. It didn't work. For days I tried to fix it and couldn't... I was gutted. Today I decided to swap it and buy a more expensive one. This graphics
card cost £80 and the new one I wanted cost £100. I went in all like "I bet it isn't compatible, yet again". The guy said they were having a sale (PC World by
the way if this is getting you interested) This meant that the guy at the counter payed me £30 and then gave me a better graphics card. That's right! HE payed
ME to give me a brand new and better graphics card.

Now I've got the 8800 GT and my outlook on life has changed. Bioshock on maximum settings with no lag. It runs faster than the 360 version. Fallout 3 in
all its glory. Left 4 Dead with lovely, shiny zombies. Anyway, turned from the shittest christmas to possibly the best like that!

Well, now I got a reason to envy you man...I've been wanting that EVGA for a long time now...

Next year I'll buy a whole new PC, with the new processors that are coming now (Intel i7 or Phenon II) and so on...

VRAM kirb. as in how many your graphics card has. A 32 mb graphics card could easily run PSO.

My GeForce 9800 GT with 512 RAM definitely makes them fleshy, but not shiny. My brother's getting the same in a day or two.

Actually, the VGA's RAM memory does not count when it comes to performance. The ram memory is used to store textures. When you're looking to buy a  VGA, look for how many BITS it has, that's what counts for real.

[drunk]I have a Radeon 1950x 256 MB card, works great for alot of the "newer" games that ppl claim have really high requirements, but im not a graphics whore so I am perfectly fine with playing on medium / low settings usually. It´s also a card that works in the way that you can call LAG and **** like Red Giant mentioned. [/drunk]
