The thread is still about Dragonium. The thread is not about locking bot threads.

Seriously, are we done here or what? This thread is going nowhere. Yes or no.

Just a little suggestion... we could always re-open Unmod. If a thread in All of All or wherever else goes too much Off-Topic, just move it to Unmod or something.

Awesome idea!
But seriously, we could try re-opening Unmod. That way, people can post any kind of threads and go Off-Topic whenever they want... as long as it doesn't spread outside of it too much again.

We could also make it so unmod threads dont go to the first page. I think I remember someone complaining about how unmod threads were on the first page, screwing things up.

That was kind of a minor issue. Couldn't hurt to fix it though.

The main problem with Unmod is that people didn't get that it was the only place for spam. It kind of lowered the tone, and people took the other boards less seriously as well. In the end the spam leaked out, and it just wasn't worth having it. It'd take serious consideration if we were to reopen it.

What is so serious about a forum for (mostly young people) who like to make crappy indie games?

Actually, most of the active members are 18+.

And we cant let it become full of spam. But anyway. I think its better to keep it all in one big spam thread than having 5 small threads on the main page like the ones done today.

I say we make an AoA thread where people are allowed to spam all they want.

18+, most likely. But the average is still around the 20. Now with young, I understand everything under the 25, cause that's still the time your getting settled with life.

On your second point, I wholeheartly agree. Let a died out thread go a bit off-topic so people can have their steam-off. It's better than having five threads of spam (as I made an example off) that fill the entire page, than one thread that's gone off-topic after the original topic has been settled.

On your last point, I disagree. Such a topic would not be too much fun and practically useless, cause people will spam anyways in other threads because something in a specific thread is being said. A better idea would be a forum gaming thread where the objective is to make a post as off topic as possible, but still a pretty useless idea.

The big point is: A thread should be able to go off-topic. Final. Topics create other topics which leads to other topics. We jump from subject to subject. Making tiny threads about these little subjects is useless if we can just keep it in one thread.

I would like to hear some opinions of other moderators and members about this. Dragonium, I know your opinion, so you don't have to reply.

No, an off-topic board.

As in, Off-the-topic-of-RPG-Maker, or as in Off-Topic-So-Be-It?

As in "If we start talking about cars but the talk changes to motorbikes, we are allowed to continue talking about motorbikes."

Hey, guys.

Stop being serious about the unserious. It's poor form. Nobody bitches when it starts raining while they're flying kites. If the fun ends, pack up, go home, and come back tomorrow.

Don't hang the weather girl.

You've gotta be shitting me...

I've taken time away from Charas because it annoys me when topics are split/merged/locked due to subject change. SRLY???

Draggie, I think you're a good mod who cares about the site lots but you don't need to go mod status when a topic changes. The whole point of conversation is to be everywhere YET there is a difference between topic changes and spam.

I totally understand if they're writing stupidity like "lulz /b/ ect" but are they?
