Back on the HoMM topic. I'm getting them mixed up. I think I played 4. It was a 3D sprite one, not a FPS/RPG one.
Anyway, I loved it!

Big difference between "Heroes of might and magic" and "might and magic".

Might and Magic was a dungeon crawler like game. Heroes of Might and Magic is a turn based strategy game I believe.

I've been, oddly enough, playing Might and Magic 6 most of the week.  Damn close to finishing, too.  Just have to do Castle Alamos, the Supreme Temple of Baa, the Derelict Spaceship, the Command Center and the Hive and I've finished the game.

We been playing a lot of Heroes V in school. And what can I say it's supreme. I didn't like it at first without the expansion sets but with them installed it's gold.

HOMM3 is the best in the series. It's the best in a lot of series it isn't even a part of.

I have to agree. Heroes 2 is the best in the series.

The best(funniest) part about Heroes V is that you can install the latest(Tribes of the east) and get all the contents from the earlier games(except the campaigns).
TotE includes the dwarves, all the previous multiplayer maps. And then all the new stuff. And you don't need a CD to play it once it's installed, so you can just let your buddies borrow it and install. Download hamachi and then play it LAN... but online-LAN.
You only need a CD of your own if you want to play online on their servers and get ranking and such.
