No, seriously though.
PLOT
I'm sure we all know the basic idea: gather all seven Dragonballs and summon the mystical wish-granting dragon. Big whoop.
Anyways, the plot is very loose. It's almost like somebody took the idea behind Dragonball and smushed it into an Americanized piece of filth, almost intentionally. No real story is ever given, and, unless you know anything about the original series itself, you're not gonna' understand a single damn thing in this film. What's worse is when you are a fan, seeing how bad they screwed this up.

ACTORS
FAIL
As much as I like Emmy Rossum (OMG PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), she's truly a lousy actress. Really, all these losers are. James Marsters is probably the only talented one among the group, and that doesn't mean much.

VISUAL FX
This is really the only saving grace behind this film, and it still wasn't that great. Sure, the Dragonballs looked pretty awesome, but the fast-action scenes like when Goku "fights" Roshi for the first time? Kinda' lame. The Kamehameha was pretty decent, I guess.

MUSIC
Kinda' average. The score was very fitting, but it wasn't anything too amazing. The theme to the movie almost made it seem like a mix between a Bond flick and the anime, which wasn't too great.
SCORE: 2.5/4

OVERALL
Yeah. Hollywood has once again shown us that anime does not translate well into live-action. Especially when it's westernized. My Lord. I mean, you gotta' give 'em props for trying, but that's pretty much it.

It was FAIL. They took Dragonball and made it into some teen film garbage. Lets face it, not only is it a TERRIBLE remake, it's also boring. :\

As for Chun-Li... ok... you know what they say: "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all."
Why is Bison into real-estate? Why is he... IRISH!? The Street Fighter movie was actually BETTER.
