Dragoon's Sprites
« on: May 09, 2009, 10:55:13 PM »
Hey all. I've started getting into spriting for a while, and I'm slowly getting better, so I'd like to show some off.

A Knight I made a while back

I monster made up of only four different rocks, with weapons sticking out of him

A Shadow sprite editted

A sprite that I've been heavily working on lately, and will probably become a little project of mine. I think I prefer this to my other sprites. Everything except the hair on this one is mine. Yes, I realize he's missing an arm. He's still a WIP.

I like it
No negative feedback from me, at the moment

Hey, Dragoon.

Not too bad. That last one is pretty impressive.

Thanks you two.

I've added his second hand to the stance. His idle stance is now complete.

Ah, that's much better. I thought the original just had bad perspective.

Hmm. I don't really like the head on that large sprite. It seems too small for the body. Maybe it's because he's leaning it forward or something. But it looks like it's the same size as the hand.
Try to add a neck or just make the head higher by 1 pixel or so. I think it should solve the problem.

I think part of the reason for that is the hair, but I'll try making the head go up higher. Though, the size of the head itself and the body is fairly typical of the TotW style, as well as closely similar to the Disgea style, I believe.

But I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, I left. But life slowed down and left me with open time, so I figured I'd like to come back.

And aside from the hair, yes, he's custom.

A sprite I'm working on. The character is very enigmatic, and his design is a mix between Altair from Assassins Creed and Saiyaman from DBZ.

Hey, these are rather nifty. Are most of them made from scrap?
