Pokémon Live!... Turned to G/S remakes thread.

My favorite songs are "You and Me and Pokémon',  "Pikachu, I choose you!", "I've Got a Secret", and the Finale.

That could work
But it would also destroy the pokémon feeling. Like, seeing pokémons running around in the wild, fighting them and seeing other people around, grouping up ect.
What they could do is to create some kind of online pokémon game where you plug in your gameboy with the game and is able to walk around and chatting with other players in a virtual pokémon tavern or something.
That's probably what Pokémon lacks most of all. Real online experience.

I still think an actual MMO is needed. You could have the random battles and a few NPC trainers, but you'd also be able to duel the other players

MMO aint happening tho. They've said they would never do it because it ruins the experience of sharing and trading o.O as stupid as that sounds.

Anyways, for constructive-ness...as I've already said, I've been thinking about a full 3d console pokemon
Not too sure how the encounters would work, but it'd be fun

On Platinum you can go on WiFi and chat in the lobby, I think.

If they've got the same chatting system as in Pearl and Diamond, then I wouldn't really call it chatting
