A picture/banner thing request

Hey people, I'm in need of like a banner type thing I don't know the official word for it, for when you enter a town or dungeon or something of the sort and the name of the place appears on screen.  Anywho, I need a new banner now and I need it to say

Kaelor

in kind of like a wooden texture if possible.  If you have any questions let me know.  Thanks to anyone who can help!

all you need it a text picture saying Kaelor when you walk on the towns map you see the towns name as it was done in a game i played in 2005

If I had Photo shop I'd help, but sadly anything I try to do in large letter with my Game Maker or Paint don't quite come out right.

Yeah, just google GIMP download, you'll get it.
I'd recommend picking up a couple of tuts though, since you're not going to understand it instantaneously.

I use these kind of things like that:  make a 320x240x8 picture (the town's name), make a switch,before enter the town ON,paralell conditioan branch if the switch is on,show that picture for a few seconds (your choice),Erase picture and then OFF the switch.
That's the way I do.Maybe there's an easier way thou  :)

No I know how to make the event, lol, but I don't have the actual picture to show.  That's what I'm asking for since I can't make it on my own.
