It's illegal to distribute the maker because it was translated into English without permission.

It's illegal to sell your games for profit.

That's about it.

You can purchase the legal japanese version, in theory, and then find an unofficial english patch. Then its unoffically legal. Asking questions of this sort is no grounds for public scorn.

Drace, quit trying to bypass the word filters please. ;)

I'm not dumb though, I'm accually quite smart.

Statements like these are exactly those that make people doubt your intelligence. Especially when you're making a thread asking the obvious.

To gem:

I had to find some way to use the word. Still, it's an animal. weenie isn't censored so why would *** be?

EDIT:

I actually find weenie worse than cock, for some reason.

I guess we won't even mention illegal versions of RMXP.

Not that I have it, though...

Also, Drace, dont piss on my head and tell me its raining.

On another note....

There are Illegal version of every game maker out there. XP, 2k3, 2k, VX, AGM. There are also legal trial versions of all of them, with the exception of 2k and 2k3.
You can discuss them all you want. AGM is currently only released officially in japanese, but an english patch was made by fans some months ago. You can discuss these makers all you want. The thing you CANT discuss is where to find Illegal copies of these. You Also cant post links to illegal copies. Basically, there are Illegal copies out the hoo-ha out there, and youre free to discuss them all you want....but then again, if youre using the illegal copies, then personally, i think youre an ***hole. You are then the reason why I had to pay 120 bucks for my legit copy of AGM. And however much I paid for my legit XP, and VX. Strangely, GM was the cheapest one i ever bought.

I have a legal version of vx it cost me 60 bucks which I think is too much when, in my opinion, is a downgrade from rm2k3 and xp.   I bought it long before I downloaded rm2k3.   I just googled rm2k3 and found the englosh download.   I did download it knowing it was illegal but still no one really seems to care I mean it's not like I'm hurting anyone.  I also know that vx has scrpt features but I don't know how to script and don't have the pacience for it.

So tired and can't see straight...   But yeah Japan keeps most of the cool stuff for themselves.   They throw us bones every now and again but they just like to keep most of the cool stuff.   Either that or we're too lazy to translate some of it.   rm2k3, in my opinion, is the coolest version cuz it has the side view battle system.   .   They should have known from the start that we'd translate it for ourselves.  Japan did give us Final Fantasy and  other cool games but they keep alot of stuff for themselves.   Well atleast FF Dissidia is coming here.   I really wish they'd give us Tales of the World Radient Mythology 2 though.
