I've not played dissisia, but imo i think its square trying to copy the Kingdom Hearts idea but keep it FF only

Dissidia isn't that good though. Kind of a boring fighting game, with the only real novelty that you're playing old FF heroes and villians. The core of the game isn't that fun. It's not nothing on Smash Bros, which was designed from the ground up to be wacky good times.

I like Smash Bros better for parties, but Dissidia has a good fighting system and is great for 1p, at least in my opinion (and also IGN's http://psp.ign.com/objects/904/904962.html).  I enjoy the 1stish/3rd person view also, and the wide playing fields. It does bear similarities to kingdom hearts, however, the variety of characters (with different fighting styles), and the time sensetive commands really do keep you on your toes, especially the duel parts (when you are locked in time and alternate blocking and attacking with an opponent).
Even if Smash Bros is better, one game being better than another doesn't make the lesser game bad.

That and Gilgamesh isn't a bonus character.

Hooray! Iiiiiiii'll wait for download. I just want a few more games to play. FF is always nice.
