I got myself a Shaymin today

Yepp, used Nintendos little Mystery gift thingy to get myself the legendary Shaymin in Pokémon Platinum.

Unfortunately, I never got Darkrai or the secret key for Rotom. My hopes are for Arceus to come out soon.

Anyway.
Have you received anything special like collectors items, event goods or stuff like that? Not just pokémon - anything.
And also - how come you don't find out about these things until it's too late? Bugs the **** out of me.

That so? According to my little brother, the Toys R Us stores are going to be giving out Arceuses (Arcei?) from the 5th of next month through the 17 of the same month.

They've also been giving out a number of other promo doods. Such as *finds DS and game card*...

Apparently, they gave out Shaymin, but we missed that event. He got one from a friend, though. A Mew, also.

Yeah, we don't have them toys'R us events. We have to rely on the Wi-fi thingies it seems. Making it quite hard to finish my pokédex.

I never completed any of my Pokedex's ;_; There's always one or two three that elude me. Even when I have both cartridges. Brings back memories though. All those long hours running through grass and climbing rock in the most delsolated and strange parts of the world map. Course my love of Pokemon came from the exploring the map and the (At the time) huge locales and cool places to visit.

I had a legal Mew that I got in one of Nintendo's original mall tours. I completed the list of origional 151 pokemon without using a single cheat. I have mild nerdy pride over this fact.

Over here, the main events are a gun show, a knife show, and a craft show. Pretty much it. :/ Nothing exciting happens here, other than accidents, really disappointing.

I'm thinking about it pretty much. Seems to be the only way to get Darkrai now unless I want to trade it online for a shiny giratina.

And now I have Arceus. Also, I got a Shaymin from my brother yesterday. He got Oak's Letter over the wi-fi Mystery Gift. Since he already had one, and this one was only Lv. 30, he gave it to me.

Also, he has two Arceuses. He has Diamond and Platinum. So there are collectively three Arceuses in my house right now.
