Yeah, its like HM. You inherit a farm from your dad, who died recently. You run the farm, get married, jus' liked HM.

Hour & Minutes appear in the corner
You can be a waiter at the inn or pub to get extra money!
You can type in cheats!
Lottery
Slot Machines
CMS
Bank
Interest in Bank Account
Breeding
Mini-Game in which you have to pull up a certain amount of crops in a certain amount of time to please the Mayor!
Actual CONVERSATIONS with NPCs! Not that boring...

Man 1: "How are you doing?"
*hero walks*
Man 2: "This is [Insert Town Name] Town!"

Seasons
Items that only work in certain seasons.
Animal Racing
Dating
Breakable items (ex. if you use the hoe *farming tool, you perverts out there * too much, it'll break and you'll have to buy a new one
Cell Phone

Yes, it will all be accomplished; I know how to do it all. ^^; I'll show some screens as once as I finish programming all these features, and then I'll make maps.

Edit: I never really understood why sombody would make a farm game, I've been to a farm and I certainly wasn't inspired, LOL.

I've played Harvest moon, and i have to say it's a quite neat game. I do think however its copying too much off of harvest moon. If you we're to change the storyline (Father dies etc.)?

Or maybe you can just call it "Harvest Moon Advanced" or something like that. Sounds neat thought ^^

Maybe you could throw in like fighting with bulls and wolves, bears and stuff like that. Wolves could be trying to eat the live stock and such. Somtimes farmers have to fight off the wildlife you know.

The cool thing about Harvest Moon was not the farming. It was the fact that it was a lot more of a "life sim" then most games are. You play as a character that is part of a town, and you work with others to achieve your goals of getting a better house, getting married, improving your farm, helping others, and making a ton of cash. It is all good fun.

CMS - Custom Menu System. Teleports the hero to a special map designed to look like a menu. Used by people that want their own menu commands such as "change party".

People who use CMSs often use a CBS (Custom Battle System) as well.
