This one didn't actually get published and probably won't be, but I'll post it here anyway.

Now that I got your attention, it's time for some bitchin'.

I just got back from my third comics staff orientation. It was all right, I guess. Two people came up and told me how much they like my comics, which was nice to hear.

When we got around to introducing ourselves, the chief comics editor asked us (the comics artists) to say which comic in the paper was our favorite. People had varying opinions, but one comic was named far more than any of the others.

Yeah. This one. Among the comics staff, this is the most popular comic in the paper.

Oh, and two people make this. I can't emphasize that enough. IT TAKES TWO PEOPLE TO MAKE "GARY BUSEY'S TEETH." One draws and one writes. I can't decide which one of them is worse at their job.

Maybe I'm a little bit bitter. Sure, my comic wasn't anyone's favorite, and I myself had to chime in for "Starpony Comics," which is one of the rare comics that is both well-written and well-drawn, to get any love. But that's not the point. It's just that..........I MEAN, JUST LOOK AT IT

It's combining red and blue to get purple.

It's not that they didn't want to publish. It's that today was the valentines issue, and there were already too many comics that needed to be published. By next friday, the reference will already be too stale.

And that's not it either, Arch!

Somehow, that comic makes me really glad that I decided not to watch the Super Bowl (or the half-time show) this year. Your comic is right: literally everyone I know is complaining about the Black-Eyed Peas' performance. I found the strip hilarious.  :D

Then it's people being united over dislike for the Halftime Show.

I was thinking it was a bit of both, but hey, missed color-humor seems to be your style.

This one requires some explanation.

Inexplicably, there's...huge metal balls on campus.

Those balls were definitely placed there strategically so people walking by could look up and see a Johnson.
