I also have the added joy of running a computer with Vista, though I run it in classic mode with as few unnecessary visual add-ons as possible. I'm not sure how much this affects full-screen programs, though. I imagine it does have some effect, as my laptop surpasses my old desktop in every single spec (including RAM and storage space, somehow), yet it seems to lag just as badly. My desktop ran XP, by the way. I've heard that Windows 7 does a bit better than Vista in this regard, but I'm still too stubborn to cough up the money for the upgrade when I'm not sure how much it will actually help me.

I don't know. Maybe I'll try it out one of these days. I'm still debating whether or not I want to risk getting hooked on another game, as this tends to happen from time to time.

I'm running it on a laptop with 2GB of RAM and onboard graphics. With the draw distance on Tiny, it's playable. I get 15-20fps on average with the occasional stutter. My friend has a similar-spec laptop and it runs it perfectly fine. Minecraft seems to hate some computers more than others.

Though it's worth noting that my laptop runs Mount&Blade, VtM:B and WoW (although WoW could be run on a toaster if you turned the graphics down) without a hitch. That should give you an idea of how badly optimised Minecraft is.

Just Cause 2 is James Bond meets GTA meets Crysis meets crack (stated above) meets bad voice acting meets REALLY FUN.

Anyway, back on Minecraft. We made a structure on my friend's RPG server called "The Shroom". Took us ages to dye all that wool.
Don't even wanna think about it. But it's a stalk that zaps you up with a water elevator into a mushroom-like structure with windows around
the edges. It was freaking awesome and took days upon days to make.

Iron armor won't be red. That's just silly. The armor I made is based off the armor lying down in building in the chipset area. The diamond sword based off of the Two crossed swords in ship, and the iron sword is just the exact same sword lying down in building

Creeper is based off the monster2 chracter set caped purple dood on the right.

(now for my own post without pictures or quotes, haven't done one in awhile.)

I'm gonna download adventurecraft (Minecraft RPG creator) and edit the chipsets in it with RPG maker chipsets, thus making a 3D RPG/ABS maker. Adventurecraft comes with health containers, bosses, keys, bombs, boomerangs, ect. Talking NPC, cutscenes, and other events. Laid out in grid format like RPG maker. I'll never unstoke. (:3)
