Don't know what all the commotion is about. The worst thing about it is that it's a tad big, vertically. Beyond that, it's nothing particularly horrifying or special or whatever. Honestly, the jump in the reflection ruins most of the suspended disbelief.

Now I'm glad I never started playing it. I can't be upset.

I played the first one. It was good but not great. It was basically a decent detective novel in interactive form. There was no real "game" to it - either I advanced the plot by doing something right or they told me I was stupid and I had to try again. I also felt some of the plot twists were a bit heavy-handed and would have been a lot happier if the game had left me to puzzle over certain things instead of bonking me on the head and telling me what was important. And obviously there is no reply value since, once you've figured out the progression of evidence and clues, there's no real compulsion to do it again.

I don't regret buying it, but I only paid ten bucks.

The first game dragged its feet a little, but it was pretty good.

Justice For All was a small improvement.

Trials and Tribulations is probably my favourite DS game. It is superb. The final case is stunning. I'd recommend acquiring it if you can.

hey guys.

Remember Layton VS Phoenix Wright?

Yeah, japan-only too, it seems.

EDIT: For all it is worth, here's a petition:

God damn, Capcom. Do you really not want our money?

Signed, even if it's just a futile gesture...

Huh? I could have sworn I made a post a little while ago, but it's not there anymore. Like, I seem to remember actually reading it on the page. Whatever. I don't feel like typing it up again other than to say that I thought T&T > the first game and JFA (which I found to be about equally good) and that 2-4 is my favorite of any case in any of the Ace Attorney games.

Oh, and the greatest appeal of the Ace Attorney games has to be the characters and the clever dialogue. It really says something when a series of games has a huge cast of characters and the vast majority of them are memorable.

I'm definitely signing that petition, for all it's worth. And I'm still wondering where my post went. Am I trippin'?

Pretty sure I've seen "Natako:   Posting in ~So apparently Capcom said it won't localize Ace Attorney anymore." while viewing the Who is Online page. Not the first time I see someone typing a reply which never appeared, though I suppose some times, the poster just changed his/her mind and did not post. Also not the first time I've seen someone thinking s/he had replied to some thread while s/he apparently did not... in fact, it once happened to me. Probably some kind of conspiracy going on.

Anyway, you know, I've never played any games of this franchise, but I'll sign this petition, for you, my friends, on this glorious quest to make Capcom change their mind! Even though I doubt it'll change much, yeah.

Yeah, I see posts disappear all the time. I have no idea why or where they go.

Cerebus, are you stalking me? Just admit it.

Perhaps the board has some bugs. Or maybe a mod *cough* is just trying to mess with our minds. :P

Yes.

And I see you still haven't repaired that window lock. Don't bother looking for that Carebear shirt; I'm wearing it right now.

Great. Now I know who that freakish note under my car door handle was from. By the way, I'm not even kidding about that. It was one of those "Do <this>, <this>, and <this> or else..." type notes. I laughed aloud at the poor spelling and handwriting.

...So then I guess it wouldn't be you after all, unless you were trolling me.

It was written in a rush.
Now, do these three <this> or else...
