Okay so I wasn't giving SM3 enough credit, but still the music and graphics don't even compare to MM, and the power-ups are cool too, but Megaman has badass weapons AND tools, including a robot dog, an elec beam, metal blades, shadow blades, a time flasher, a gravity reverse move, etc.

SM3 is definitely NOT as great as everybody says, I'm with Lucas here, I actually thought the first Mario game was better than SM3. I liked the graphics and music in SM1 WAY better, and SM3's gameplay wasn't that much better so there. SM3 is not as great as everyone says, and MM beats it in every aspect. SM3 just felt like a half-assed sequel to me so Nintendo could make movie about it and get money off the 9,000,000,001 people who played the first game and would beg their parents to take them to see that waste of time movie "The Wizard".

I think my favorite Megaman was the V on the gameboy. The one that had you go TO SPACE TO FIGHT ROBOTS ON JUPITER AND ****. God that was so cool. It even had a death star.

No way, man. It was the best platformer in the world when it came out, and with the addition of a save system like in All Stars, still very playable to this date. Very tight platforming, huge number of different levels, power ups you could save and use when you were in trouble. It's a fun game today.

You're allowed to not like it and like Megaman better, but I think you're going overboard here and not giving due credit. And MM's music can be pretty awful >_>

Agreed! NSMB: Wii has levels without a touch on the older Mario games!

NSMB Wii was disappointing. SMB1 was great, but not perfect. Same goes for the Megaman games as a whole. Mr Gimmick was perfect.
