All I ever see on the trains and such as all them anime / manga / whatever they are calling themselves these days - people. Some red haired girl, guys with huge swords and so on. Never seen an actual convention worth getting dressed up for either. Might get dressed up for next years run. It's a pretty big thing with like 23000 people, so a Link in the crowd should probably stick out.

The only cosplayer I've ever seen in real life was a person who came into the store where I work dressed as Link, including the pointy ears. No, I have no idea why.

I once wanted to go to a convention as Aika from Skies of Arcadia, but then I realized that most people wouldn't get the reference and decided not to. I didn't wind up going to the convention either, hence why I've only ever seen one cosplayer.

Seems pretty sweet. Especially with the versatility of the suit - like you said, you can do a lot with it both in and out of cosplaying.

I'm actually working on a first cosplay (well, I believe the word is crossplay in my case) myself - specifically Ephraim from FE8. I'm worried that I'm a little short to pull it off

I shamefully cosplayed as cloud once... I DID make a kickass duct tape buster sword tho. I still have it somewhere.

That was when I was 13. I never did one again and I never will. Like cerb, they're just not for me. Though there are some badass cosplay out there.
