I like the Blitzball theme, and it is very unfitting for actual battle music, and is out of place.

Sonic Adventure 2 Final Boss Battle Theme Live and Learn

This, Sonic A2B.

As a FINAL BOSS THEME, THE EARTH IS GOING TO BE OBLITERATED IF YOU LOSE THIS FIGHT.
Let's play Live and Learn~
= n=
Honestly. I was kind of upset, that it wasn't a more on beat, action packed, intense song.

Honestly, Biolizard should've just been the final boss.

Also the battle against Great Ezi in Eternal sonata. Although you kinda expect that kind of music against such a messed up boss as it.

Eternal Sonata EZI boss

The music is quite crazy, but seeing gameplay makes me want this game even more :o

Yeah, EZI temple all around was wacky. I luv'd it. 2-3 level-ups per battle made it very nice too.

I'm a fan of end-of-game Persona battle music, because it is typically a compilation of remixed versions of the normally 'calm' tracks in the game.

Also the music when fighting Chaos in FF Dissidia. Seems a bit unfitting.

Weird boss & final boss themes?

Well, if quality is not a prequesite, then the final boss themes for the following games count:

-the final boss of the incredibly bad Bebe's Kids for the SNES. Basically? For those who missed out on this abomination (be thankful for that), it's basically a voice clip saying 'Too strong' over and over with a cheap rap-ish beat in the background. It loops in about 15 seconds or so and repeat over and over and over.

-the final boss theme of Sonic Rush (Wrapped in Black). Sonic Rush is full of bad music with rap-ish one sentence 'songs' and well, the final boss theme pretty much showcase this the best out of all the themes. Simply put, take Bebe's Kids's final boss theme, add 'Eggman' to the 'lyrics', add an extra 15 seconds to the loop, and there you go.

-the final boss theme from Chrono Cross. The actual final boss theme, as in "Into a Time of Darkness", not "Dragon God". Basically, considering Chrono Trigger's own final boss themes (World Revolution and Last Battle) and the fact that the game thrown Dragon God at you for the previous fight, you'd expect the final fight to be a step-up or at least, fitting equivalent, right? Well, nope. You get a cacophonic serie of clangs and then what seems to be wind with a few effects added in. It's a bit too loud to be an ambiant track proper but it's pretty hard to call it music either...

You should post links for us.

Chrono Trigger - Lavos Final Boss Battle Theme

This theme, isn't THAT out of place, but it is strange and wacky, but with the background and the beat around 0:35
it gets to sound like your good ole CT music.

Considering that Cross's soundtrack was actually on the level of Trigger's, it's so strange they made a final boss with no music. But that game made a number of odd choices as it finished so who even knows man.

Btw, all, if you don't want to auto-embed, wrap the url tag with a [noembed] tag.

Jet Set Radio Future - Grace and Glory [B.B. Rights Mix] (Extended Version)

considering it to be a part of the JSRF Soundtrack, it's not too far off the games original sound, but for a final boss theme.
It's both unique and far from generic.

Examples of generic overly heavy ques and choir voices final boss themes.

Huh.
I'm guessing the limit per page is 12.
