Also, I'm mildly agoraphobic.
Wide open spaces make me nervous.

Also. Not making fun of your phobia or anything (I know how bad it can be), but, fear of empty spaces? That's understandable, but me, I actually enjoy them quite a lot. The more empty a room is, the better I'll feel.
Voids.
Dark voids.
Lackthere of light.
Also means a fear of loneliness, a fear of feeling empty.

Locations and darkness like this freaks me out.

Achluophobia, is the fear of the dark. In which, I'm fine at night time, or so long as I can see the walls.
But the moment it looks like something travels forever, into an infinite void of blackness, I freak out.

Kenophobia.     a fear of open or empty spaces, voids. For me, only dark empty spaces freak me out.

Honestly, anytime I fall into the void on minecraft I get slight shivers.

I think Natako opened up a pandora's box and exposed us all for the psychotic lunatics that we all are. ::)

You can't have gradual exposure for death. Or, well, maybe you can. That's called living.

Or it's called a near-death experience. I've had more than my share of them. I got hit by a truck, had a roof collapse on me, and fell down the side of a very steep hill. And that's the stuff I can remember off the top of my head.

It may be contributing to my germophobic behavior, but that might just be the OCD taking over (something else in my life that seems to be getting worse by the minute).

I'm some kind of neurotic mess.

I'll see your gradually spiraling OCD and raise  you a gradually spiraling schizophrenia. What's that? Not now Mr Wall, I'm talking to the internet! D:<

Schizophrenia in itself is not a phobia, no. But it's a magical doorway to the wonderful land of phobias. Like I said in my original post, every time I go outside I feel like EVERYONE is watching me. -_-

Earthworms.  (Scoleciphobia in medical speak.)  I will however admit that worms are the best bait for fishing, and will gladly handle the annelids if I can land a nice trout.  In any other circumstances, I can't stand to look at them.  Leeches?  Even worse.  Giant worms?  Ugh.  And then there are giant leeches...

Nothing. Well, as I kid I got attacked by a dog. It was pretty big and jumped on me and barked at me and all that and the owner was just "oh he's just saying hello". Well **** you owner, big smelly dogs are scary for 5 year olds.

But yeah. Not afraid of them anymore. Things become less frightening when you learn how they work. Dogs and cats are both very predictable in their behaviours so after some relatives got both the mentioned and I was exposed to them it went away.

Also. Any fear from bugs and insects and any other smaller animal went away the moment I realized that they died easily. Was a bit afraid of getting stung by bees. Then one day I mistook one for a pesky fly and smashed it with my hand. Bee died, no sting.
Any bug is usually pretty dead when you grab it and squish it. It works, true story. And just like any horror game, the moment you realize that stuff can be killed - the "OMG OMG OMG!" feeling goes away.

Sure, the thought that someone is trying to kill me hanging out in dark areas isn't the most pleasant one but I figure that if someone actually wants to kill me they will succeed. Same if I'm sleeping and someone kills me in my sleep.
Not that afraid of dying, just don't want to die. Not gonna go doing crazy daredevil stuff because of it though.

I'm afraid of volcanoes.  Shut up.

Also heights.  No, not the falling.  Actually being too far from the ground makes me nervous.  There's also the current fear that Atlus will never release Persona 5, but continue stringing us along.  The last is my biggest fear.

I was hit by a car once. Or rather, I ran into a speeding car while riding my bicycle. I came out of it unharmed (though not the same can be said for the bike), but it freaked me out immensely. The two seconds between seeing the car and hitting it felt like an eternity, which I spent regretting how short my life was. It didn't really do any good to my fear of dying. If anything, it made it worse, and left me afraid of cars. (seriously).
But thankfully I survived. Got up, picked up my broken bike, thanked math and probability for keeping me alive, and moved on.
Wow, I had a remarkably similar event, except the far wasn't moving. Also, my bike wasn't the only thing that got wrecked; I chipped my front-left tooth on the top part of my mouth. My face hurt like hell, but it was mostly fine. The chip wasn't even all that bad (it's still present. Dentists say it isn't bad enough to require any work, but getting it capped might be a good thing), so I left it alone.

I'm scared of deep water and things that live in the deep sea. A lot of them are slimey, have giant eyes, whiskers. Some are just floating digestive systems that just consume things. There are worms 2metres in length, fish that suck the inards out of other creatures leaving only skeletons and hollowed out skin/scales...the bottom of the ocean is the stuff of nightmares.

Even in lakes I don't like touching seaweed, I get paranoid that there's something lurking in it.

I don't blame you. If I lived in Brazil, I probably wouldn't go in the water either. Hell, I thought it was bad when one of my old friends (who lived in Florida at the time) told me that they had alligators in the water down there...and went swimming anyway!

I also have a mild case of achluophobia like a few of you. Like Felix, I can tolerate it until it's so dark that I can't see anything. At that point, I start freaking out. Trying to sleep during a power outage is fun because I get so anxious that how tired I am doesn't even matter anymore.

Darkness is on and off for me.  Most of the time, I love the dark.  But then there are the days when I can't stand it.  As in I have panic attacks if I don't have the area flooded with light.  I don't know why.  Electromagnetic radiation?

I don't like it when it's too dark. Because I can't see. Other than that, I don't mind it.

I got bit by jellyfish and crabs when we lived in Italy. Still went in the water every day. :D

As for the dark, I don't mind it one bit. Ironically enough it's because of my schizophrenia. The little voices in my head tell me that it's ok and that there's nothing to fear.

Yeah, but we're talking alligators here! When I'm at the beach, I honestly don't care about jellyfish or crabs either. If I was down in Florida and was told that there were alligators in a lake, you'd probably see me hopping in my car and putting as much distance between myself and that lake as humanly possible.
