Cool, so I haven't stopped working on this - but I've posted all the tracks I've written for the game so far here if you want to take a listen.

The in-game sound won't be as high of quality since I'm using midi for those, but its nice to hear the sounds intended.

Its hard to believe I've been working on this game on and off for almost six years!!!  :o

So, I'm trying to make myself do some work on this now that I've got a job teaching -- so I'm going to be streaming on Twitch any time I do.  In case anyone wants to chat and is interested in sharing comments, I'm streaming here: www.twitch.tv/aforgottenlegend

Huh you know I subscribed to Twitch Prime ages ago to get the MTG Arena Boros bundle. I never did use it for anything else. Maybe I'll toon in when I have wi-fi and actually use it for it's intended purpose.

Hey everyone!  Since my school district is closed and I'm now teaching online with "Distance Learning", I have more time to work on my game!  I'm going to stream today March 21st on twitch at 9pm EST!

Going to be streaming tonight at 6p Pacific Time/9p Eastern Time!  Currently working out a Custom Battle System.  The official translation added a bunch of new features to the pictures command (including calling pictures via variable AND separating out a sprite sheet to create animations from pictures)

Here's what I've got so far!

* calculates what images to call based on an ID - allowing heroes and enemies to change depending on battle
* displays hero information (hero, hp, mp, and equipped accessory)
* calculates turn order and displays based on AGI
* battler graphics are animated using a sprite-sheet that is split using rm2k3's new spritesheet function in the SHOW PICTURE command


I have to go back and change the battle x/y coordinates, but that's a really quick change since its set at the beginning and then just altered.

Looks great. I did something similar in the last game contest with the 1 map challenge.

But yours actually looks like a battle system and not just a stand in.
