The Lucario you see in game is one that can speak. I forget which movie/game featured a Lucario of such status, but its not just a "regular pokemon." So that's how he snuck his way into Brawl.
I'm not a fan of mewtwo, never really was.
Greninja is the water starter 3rd evolution in Pokemon X/Y.
Guessing they're showing him off as Ash has a froakie in the anime.
The Charizard returning probably because of his role in pokemon Origins.
All my theories here. |
I still really hope Ness, and Captain Falcon make an appearance.
Sad Meta-knight probably won't appear, he's my favorite Kirby universe character.
Sad Falco probably won't appear, favorite Star Fox Universe character.
I'll be shocked if neither Ganon/Yuga/nor Girahim make an appearance.

Oh right, I kinda remember that.
And Greninja being the new Charizard in the anime makes sense. Can't see the other two starters receiving as much liking from the fans.
I'm guessing Ness, Falcon and the puff will return, but as secret characters again as in Brawl and every other game.
But I kinda wonder if they won't cut down on the characters now that they have the skill customization thing. My guess is that Fox will have most of Wolf and Falco's versions of the attacks as customizable choices and then alternative skins to make him look like them. It would be a way for them creators to cut down on characters and yet please the fans. However, this would mean that the old doppelgangers will be unavailable in online and tournaments.
I hope to see a nerfed meta knight returning or at least a meta knight skin for kirby.

Skill customization? Maybe I should try to follow updates...
So we can customize move sets of characters? I'm not really sure I like that. But I guess I'll see where that goes.
If they do so, I kinda hope then that there is a move set and skin for both Mewtwo and Pichu. Yes, I actually liked Pichu. He was weak, but fun to play with. And while Mewtwo was far from being my favourite, I still had fun playing him, and prefer him over Lucario, who was sort of replacing him.
Oh and they better get rid of tripping. That crap is beyond retarded.

I had my laptops hard drive completely reformatted earlier last week. Lost 17 days of hard work on my game, bummer.
anways, Aveyond's chapter 2 looks horrid.

That good?
Been meaning to get it, loved the first game. Saw you playing it on steam. Are the controls any good on the PC version? Last one was kinda wonky

I hear that this one got a proper PC version instead of a cobbled-together port. The last game didn't have a PC-specific team to work on the port, so they admitted that it wouldn't be spectacular, but it was done for the fans. This game was actually given attention because they knew of the PC fanbase and their desire for the game this time around.

I've been using a PS3 controller. I would recommend doing the same, as I can't vouch for anything else. Well, maybe a xbox 360 controller might be better, because the button images don't change depending on the controller you're using. (Since using a PS3 controller is just emulating x-input, the drivers for xbox controllers.)
If you liked the first two, then this one's just more of the same. Nothing too new or adventurous, but still an insanely fun, adrenaline-filled, heart-pounding, tense, adventure game.

Anyone tried Soul Calibur Lost swords btw? Noticed it being a free to play like Dead or alive 5- something,
but what bugged me is that it apparently is a single player game, that kinda killed it for me.
Also, how do you get your ps3 controller to work on a PC again?

this should help. It's the program I use. I wouldn't recommend Motioninjoy, it sucks.

So nintendo is making remakes of pokemon ruby and sapphire now, or well. I think so at least? Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are the titles apparently. Explains why Blaziken got a mega evolution I guess.

I am likely the minority holding the opinion of indifference even disappointment with that announcement. I felt R/S/E was the second weakest generation only to be outdone by B/W. The starters, yes even Mudkip, were some of the least interesting and aside from Blaziken (Though I still maintain Infernape is better) they were also some of the weakest. Not to mention the entire rest of the generation, with the exception of course of Flygon (Flygon Jin as I nicknamed him) and Exploud (Billy Mays), were all equally as weak[1]. The only positive things to come from this generation were abilities and double battles, but these were only really worthwhile competitively when D/P/P came along and perfected the mechanics as well know them today.
I truly do not understand why this iteration is held with such high regard. Perhaps I'm too old and felt this series peaked with G/S/C, though I doubt that's the case. Or maybe I just don't have as fond of memories of it because it was the only game I did not own within the first few days of it's launch due to not getting a GBA for 2 years after the release. With that said, I will likely be shelling out the $40, perhaps $80 for both when they come out in the fall. I am a Poké-whore after all.
[1]Weak - Uninspired or generally uninteresting. I'm well aware Metagross and Salamence will rip a whole lotta *** up.
