Key Input Processing Rm2003
« on: July 24, 2014, 04:22:56 AM »
So, I'm trying to make it to where if I press . or / or whatever something happens (only the last check box of Key Input Processing), but these keys don't seem to work. Even more, the program doesn't seem to change the registering variable if the key is pressed and then you shift F9 to check its value (remains zero). Is this a problem with rpgm in general, or just me? Am I doing something wrong?

Okay here's the thing about that .

It's the keys on the numpad, or what you call it. The +, *, - and so on.

However I'm rolling a version of rpgm2k3 that can't detect shift (it's not even an option) so it might have something to do with that.

+, -, *, etc all don't work. However, I am using a laptop, so many that explains things. I will try with a keyboard when I'm home from work.

It could very well be your laptop. My old laptop didn't have a numpad and there were no substitute keys I could find that would register for those values in rm2k3.
