Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I missed you.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I missed that welcome.
For me it was always Alissa. I love her design, her colors, her face set, etc. Always added her in my early rtp games.
For me it was always Alissa. I love her design, her colors, her face set, etc. Always added her in my early rtp games. She was an early-game sword-mage for me, able to do pretty much everything well but not the best at it.
I always liked the male thief. The goggles were just great. Wasn't him in Don Miguel's game that came with the RPG Maker 2000 English translation? That was a wonderful game. ...well, I haven't touched it in over 10 years, but, y'know. From what I remember.edit: ...only now realizing that when I played that game, I couldn't even speak English. That really was ages ago.
My first complete rtp game was called Wrath of Sinrad and the main characters were a pirate crew. Captain Shiela was the female pirate, Tsuna the engineer and (sort of) main character was the male thief and Farter was the male pirate. They recruited the female thief and she was sort of a bruiser. THey later became the staple main characters for an entire trilogy! My favourite rtp character might actually be the cloaked skeleton monster char though, which was a main character in a huge (and increasingly epic) 'shitty' game which me and a friend made. He had a theme tune which we used live instruments to create and all that jazz. Klaus. Lead singer of Klaus and the magic numbers.
This is true for me as well and pretty much every other game I've seen made with RTP characters.I also liked the engineer with goggles, but I changed his hair because it looked like he had an antenna or something. What else, oh the male ninja because it was a ninja and ninjas are cool. Also the female elf and the male warrior, because it was pretty clear what their roles would be. And then Klaus the magicians because of hiss sassy bang and the sweet robe.
I'm not sure what his name was, but he has a black longcoat trimmed in gold and blue hair. I just though he looked cool, kind of reminded me of Setzer from Final Fantasy 6/3. I always loved his character, though Edgar is my favorite and probably my favorite of all the final fantasy game with maybe the exception of Cecil.
