Actually it doesn't depend on luck. The enemies give you hints which tell you what they will do next. The trick is trying to decipher what they are saying. I will use hints that are very vague and hard to understand in order to try and throw off the player. The first major battle is easy and you shouldn't lose many soldiers at all. But as you proceed through more major battles, the difficulty gets higher. So, it's not luck at all.

I'm sort of new but I made ABS (but still I like yours SonicChaos7 is this for RM2K if so I'ed like to get this

Sorry, it's for RM2k3.

Oh, it doesn't depend of luck!It looks-like the LS II mixed with LSIII, we have to decipher what the enemy talks.Good!I made a duel battle system that looks-like with the LSIII one, and in that game we have to try to decipher what the enemy talks, just like your system.Good!I liked it! ;)

Here's a bit of the background (story... same thing really).

Background

It had been nearly 100 years since the last major war had been waged. But now, things are slowly starting to change. The country of Lavern has become more hostile than ever, attacking villages at will and killing innocent people. But taking complete control of their own country was not enough. King Cleavin of Lavern has now set his sights on Gelmara, a country that has been at peace for many years. They pose a threat to to Lavern, so the king has planned to wipe them out. He made an attack on the Gelmaran forces one day, but was unsuccessful in beating them. His 50,000 could not weaken their force of 80,000. Now the king has called upon the finest mercenaries in the land. They are known as the Stalking Shadow, for they can easilly defeat an enemy within a few minutes without any detection or notice. Cleavin wanted this force... he NEEDED it. Without Gelmara's land he could not be satisfied.

It would appear that his faceset does not match the rest of the character.

I'm currently working on my second major battle which will be harder because the enemy commander only grunts to hint. You must pay close attention to the differences in his grunts in order to find out what attack will come next. Here is the charset that has my war soldiers.

He's chasing the sheep. I thought it'd be funny to have something like that in my game. I also have a boy chasing a cat.

Right now I'm currently taking a break before  I finish up my demo. I should be done soon (hopefully).
