I think public ridicule is a best suited punishment, otherwise he should be put in like a Hall of Shame where all he can do is post in a single topic, it won't count up his post count at all, so he can just spam to his heart's content.

I think that we SHOULD ban him. I know that he won't come back for any good reason, and since he asked for his posts to be deleted HIMSELF, I think we shouldn't pity him just because he's old and all.

True Snake, but saying ban still isn't a good idea. Ignoring is much better, most of the time spammers get bored and go off to bug another forum. And in some cases the spammers turn out to be alright and may even change their ways. But by banning, we'd never find out what kind of person they'd become. I mean, ban is something that is used for something serious. Like threats and stuff like that. Sure, spam is ''REALLY FRIGGIN ANNOYING'' but we're mature enough to ignore it *I hope* Everyone's better off doing what Alex said, let an admin or mod know. Point them in the right direction and they'll take care of it. Course they'll get tired of it, but it comes with the job.

i do understand what ur sayin Mid but IMO when u ignore somebody instead of retaliating they think that they have won and then they will keep pushin to see how much they can get away with. Ignoring a problem doesnt solve it, it only seems that way until it blows out of hand completely.
