Might be a good idea to plan out some sort of basis for the game beforehand actually, in my opinion..
otherwise you might end up hitting a dead end with the game or something.

Hard to progress when you don't even know where it's going.. yah know?..

Even worse, even though it's fun to kind of make stuff up as you go along to surprise yourself with what you can come up with, you really really don't want to end up having to go back and change something because everything was made up as you go along and it just doesn't connect right, if you know what I mean.  I've had that trouble before.  Actually, I'm having that trouble right now kind of.

I still don't have the full story yet, but I keep thinking of stuff to put in my game, if they are good ideas, I lock them in my mind for when I need them, only bringing up thoughts about them from time to time so I don't forget at all...

Yo, Xen, if you don't want to forget, you should get a composition book, and write ideas down in there.

I'm continuing my game for a bit. I've still got a long way to go with everything but I'm continuing it....
Not sure when I'll add screenies, updates, and the like though...
Just so everyone knows, the site for my game is re-locating. I'm not giving a link yet 'cause nothing is done but I'll give one when I have something to look at.

That's all for now...

Hmm I don't know why I didn't post anything here earlier,  :|  Anyway I think your game looks sweet, if you need any help or want me to make any type of gfx for you just let me know and I'll make it  :D

Oh and I can help make mini-games and other things that may require some advanced scripting if you want.

Do you need a system graphic done? I can try to help if you want.

To DragonBlaze: Thanks DragonBlaze! I may need some help with gfx so I'll let you know if I need help. About the scripting thing, I may need help with that, but I'm not also the best rm2k3 scripter either, so I'm not sure yet.
To RPG LORD: The system graphics are practically done now, so I won't be needing help with that.

NEED HELP!
« Reply #101 on: November 25, 2004, 08:42:54 PM »
Okay, I've been thinking 'bout my main character's sword and I made another sword instead. The new sword looks okay(I think) but I like the old one. I just want people to say which one they like better out of the two, so that it makes my choice for my main character's sword that little bit easier...

Here are the two swords:

Number one being the old one, and Number two being the new one I made(which needs some improvement)...

I'm glad to see that you thought about switching out that sword, you should use the second sword.
Good luck!  :bend:

Just give sword two a bit larger handle, then I say use that one.

Sword one is a dark sword, and if it reflects the heros personality (if he acts "evil" or is bad in nature) you should probably use that one.
