**Moved from AoA**If anyone wonder where he went
« on: September 21, 2004, 08:03:09 PM »
You've probably noticed that Darwin hasn't been on for a while. Well my friend Neslein used to talk w/ him on messenger and has told me that he's become a christianity freak. You might remember that he deleted all his illegal software (including rm2k3) 'cuz of his faith. Well it goes further than that. He doesn't do anything rm2k/3 related anymore and has retired from all his internet activeties. He probably won't return. Just if somebody wondered...

That's......A little overbearing. I, myself, am a Shintoist and respect all people's faiths and beliefs, but I think he just went a tad overboard. But that's his decision, not mine, so I shall let him go his way and live his life the way he sees fit. I hope he does alright, although I never met him.

My best wishes go to him.

Funny. And so sudden, too. Didn't he argue on some thread or other how he was an atheist?
Did something bring this on, maybe?

To Chrono10v3r: Um, how old r u? No offense, but I can't really understand what you r saying. Your spelling is kind of, off too.
On Topic: Wow that stinks. But it is what he believes though. But I do think that he kind of went a bit overboard though. Oh well, best of wishes to him and his future.

Religion is a guideline, not a rule. Even Muslim people can eat pork (and most do).

The Bible specifically says that you should follow all laws, both on Earth and from God. The only time you are "allowed", so to speak, to break an eartly law is when it contradicts with one of God's laws. In olden times breaking one of those laws usually meant a bloody demise but people will willing to do it rather then speak against God.

The english copies RM2k and RM2k3 are illegal. You can make whatever sort of "oh, they never released an english version and we want it, so it is okay" argument you want, but they ARE illegal. If this was weighing on Darwin's heart and he thought he was in contradiction with the Bible and God's word, then it makes perfect sense for him to delete the illegal material.

I am not saying that anyone who keeps it around is a bad person. Not my place to judge. Just trying to give some insight into why he did it.

I think Darwin is just following his own religious will. I don't think it matters what he has done with his life and his rm2k3 files.

I ain't gonna question about any of this because he has made his own decision to proceed forward through his life.

He's became religious. He's deleted everything ever to do with rm2k3. So what...

He's made his choice and nothing else will change that....
