Mikado, there is one flaw within your logic. You say you don't care, you'll keep making fighting comics whether we like it or not.

But you can't. Not without a story. Even if you're not a story. For, you see, the comic is a platform made FOR stories.

A great comic artist once said that we need to redefine the comic to fit todays standards. Because you can't really "tell" someone WHAT a comic is. You can show examples, say "A comic is like a book, ya know, like the batman comics." But define comic.

"A book with pictures." Not good enough. Tis too general. You need to include the style. One could argue a comic is not a thing, but is a genre of art, and the proper term is a comic book, and this is a good way of explaining it.

Comic style has a few defining features. First of all is the borders. Now you might say "Some comics don't have borders!" Indeed, but do not some paintings have no frame? The comic book border is a common theme in nearly all comic books.

Next is the content. This is where you are flawed. Comic style is a meld of the written and the drawn. A comic cannot be simply pictures of people fighting, because if it was it would be deviating too far from the base characteristics of comic books. It would be pushed back into the "Book with pictures" category.

When you say you're making a comic, people today expect some sort of story, with art/graphics to go along with it. The term Sprite Comic is associated with quick punchlines and frequent updates, due to the simplicity of making a sprite comic.

This may be way too deep for the situation, but the end result is that your idea of a comic is not really a comic but a fight scene without animation. And few people like those. Have fun making them, but the reason people make comics is to show them to others, to display their work and send out their message, even if it's as simple as "LOOK AT THIS! AIN'T IT COOL?" You can say you don't care about our opinions, but the fact you're making them shows you care about SOMEONE's. And if you want to be praised, you're going to have to take some of our suggestions to heart.

Good luck mulling this rant over.

Okay, you are a bit messed up... you want so much freaking action that you just wanna see people punch and kick each other over and over and over.... that's not normal. Go watch dragon ball Z or something.

o..m..g......THAT WAS A GOOD COMIC. WHY ARE YOU MAKING THESE CRAP COMICS IF U CAN MAKE COMICS LIKE THAT?! it has a story to it. there is enough action, and not so much that it ruins the comic. just make it more clear on which frame goes first.
