I only had time to play through the first 10 - 20 minutes or so. (I'll play through the rest tonight probably :D). Anyway I like where its going. The story is about as good as you can get (at least the little I've seen). The music was great, and most of the graphics were well made as well. Everything else was pretty good too. I'll also give you some negitive feedback, just so this game can turn out even better. :)

First thing, the monsters in the begining have too much life. One example is the 3 vicious bush guys I fought. I had just the main character, and it took 3 hits to kill them each. SO it took 9 turns to fight the battle. The bushes never hit me, and if they did they only took one away, I found these battles to be incredably boring. Then there was the two bees I fought, at full life they killed me. A battle this early in the game (it was my second battle) shouldn't be this hard, especially since the only skill I have to work with is the regular attack. If you want to make games with enemies like this at the begining, you should make differant difficulty settings.

Another thing is I thought some of the beggining map layouts weren't the best. I didn't think they were bad, but I thought they could have been better. Basically the world map, and the second town (including insides) where the ones I noticed. The first area and the forest were done very well.

Lastly the intro. It was informitive, but it wasn't that "cool" in my opinion. Or at least it could have been better. If you add some scenes with begining credits with "brought to you by (name)", a (name) production, and the name of the game. Anyway if you do that, put them on some good scenes, and add good music, I think the intro would be a lot better. Now maby you did this a little later on, cuz like I said I only played 10 - 20 minutes. Anyway if so, just ignor this paragraph :)

Remember I thought this was one of the better games I have ever played made with rm2k, and i thought it was really good. The reason I'm critisizing it is so that you can make it even better :D

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

i was just going to tell you, your zip was corrupt, and it only unzipped the backdrop and battle. So i think the download was not downloaded right. But don't worry, if the download is correctly download, i let you know what i think of the game.

DragonBlaze:
I need negative feed back to. :)
I think I could fix those fights to a little easier, but that wasn't the intro you played, the intro has allready been in the first demos. :p
However thanx very much and I wish you good luck playing the rest. :bend:
And BTW, if you notice the first rewiews the difficulty was "4" that's kind of why I made it a little harder but I'll make it easier. ^^

benosalankelley:
What? That's not meant to happend, I don't think that happend to anyone else. You should ask someone who played it.
I will be waiting for those words. ^^

Snake Eater:
Thanks. ^^

« Reply #14 on: October 23, 2004, 10:46:31 AM »
there is a pesky bug, well, it seems that the red haired girl who talking to that other red girl, and he told her that the hero was going to the dererth mountain, and guess what, she is not visible for some reason?.......i think you forgot to set the add party on thing. But so far, the game is okay. Or i think i am missing a file, so maybe you can give me the file, and see if it works or not, i don't know.

edit: wait a sec, he just appeared again, but outside, um, well you can fix that scene though.

edit 2: again, i don't see her, what the hell?, i mean for the faceset for the menu screen.

Well, i just leave it that.
