Movie Madness

Ok, I have had this idea for a while and thought, why not make a guy out of it?

The story:

You are a fat, filthy, digusting guy who watches TV all day long while drinking beer. Your only friend is a small nerdy guy who you pick on all the time. Now this nerd makes a machine that allowes you to be teleported into this "parallel universe" of movies you like. Of course, something goes wrong and you get stranded i this world with the nerd, your trusty remote and the last bottle of beer you had in your hand.

Now the goal of this game is to get back to the real world, obviously. To do this, you will have to fight your way through these movie worlds and defeat the boss at the end. Then you get teleported to the next movie world. The idea was to have these worlds exist mostly of horror movies.

My original idea has the following movies planned: Friday the 13th (unsure about which part), A Nightmare on Elm Street, Braveheart, Rat Race.

The weapons are gained from boss battles to give you stronger ones. Defeat Jason and get his machette, defeat Freddy for his gloves, etc.

EDIT: As of the 11th of February 2009 this idea has been canceled and free to be used by anyone who reads this.

Okay I might sound like everybody else right here but it needs to be said: Your game has promise, just do it right. You could make a great game with this, just don't mess it up. For movies I reccomend Kung Pow, Pirates of the Carribean, and Big Money Husslas.

I think of a mix between both, as you interfere with the movies plot things will change, for instance you arive trough the portal and the hero is busy in a fight and get's killed so you must do everything that the hero must do (think i'll do that by spiderman(if i add it)for the fun)

i don't know yet, i'll have to thin about it for a while for what suets best for it. But i only have RPG maker 2003 and i don't know how to make it turn base there

This game sounds awesome... Like Kindom Hearts only less 'disneyfied'. I Suggest some Indiana Jones Movie, where you have to escape from rolling boulders and stuff like that! But the possibilities are endless!

How about Kill bill or Hero? Also, maybe you can include video games. That would be awesome! A fat lazy guy in MGS would be really funny!
