My scanner is broken. I cannot get power to it. And I have loverly pictures I want to scan for you all.  :(  no fairs.

...that is a little weird. So many people's scanners disabled at the same time...

Mine's messed up because I had to do something to the computer to get rid of viruses and such, and somehow the scanner software was the ONLY non-virus thing that got blipped in the process.
Which wouldn't be so bad... except that the scanner's installation CD is messed up. It installs everything without any errors... EXCEPT the stuff you need to actually use the scanner.
