He does look too much like Cloud. I think I said it before. He's got clouds hair and a big sword. I could try and fix it. And... you forgot to attach. :D

Yea, sorry.  Hehe.  Well, he is not the same...well, take a look.  I was wondering that If this remake looks too much like Cloud, than can someone fix him to look less like Cloud?

Well you fit 2/3rds of the bill, but I'd redesign him just to be safe.

And I agree with you fully zerokirby. Think about how many other characters have spiky hair (and not just RPG's)

Cloud of FF7 (of course)
Goku of something I'd rather not mention for my life
SONIC!?!?!? (I have no clue where that came from)
I'd list more if I had more lore.

I actually like working on this guy. I'll do it. But that means I'll have to redo poses.... Oh well, I'll do it anyway.

Well, here are three screens, and then I'm gonna continue to work on the demo.  But first an update.

Update: Well, if I fix all the bugs in my game, and finish eventing and mapping the last Village, the demo SHOULD be out by next week.  It's not a gaurantee (sp?) but I will work hard at it.  Also, I've changed Skylars look.  He is no longer a "Cloud wannabe".  He doesn't even use a sword.  In fact, he has two attacks, one which is the standard 'Lightning bolt shot".  And then you can use different ammo, and he will use a second shot.  Anyways, here are the screens.

Well, he has a standard never runs out attack, that is very weak.  And he can also use different ammo for a second attack.  I would make it limited, but I have yet to find a tut. for an ammo sytem that doesn't involve using skills as the ammo.

Here's the way I have it in my game:
Make a "Shotgun Ammo" item.
When you equip shotgun and attack it checks for "Shotgun Ammo".
If there is one it takes one away and he attacks.
If there is none it says "Out of ammo" and he transmutes his gun into a blade and attacks.

The ammo was an item. I'll try and figure out again after my bro erased muy game file. Took me so freaking long to figure it out.
