A newbie here ^^

Title: Legenda *or 'The Legend'*

Story:
A young mercenary named Sildar returns home from a war. He wants to live happily with his sister Lisa and his sweetheart Shana. But fate has other plans... He meet a young sorceress Aya. She was sent to him through her dreams... and this is a beginning of their journey.

Heroes:
Sildar - young mercenary. He loves his younger sister and wants to live peacefuly... His weapon is a sword.
Aya - sorceress. She's sweet and lovely... until you make her mad. She has strange dreams and she travels around the world. She uses magic.
Kayin - young elf. Sildar saves his life and Kayin decides to join him... He knows a lot about their goals, but he doesn't speak much. His weapon is a bow and he uses magic.
Ra'Nuin - dark elf. He joins Sildar's party after a fight, because of a prophecy. He's sarcastic XD He wields two blades and also uses magic.
...and there's one hidden character...

Features:
- day and night, some things are only seen by night...
- you can have more than 4 charas in your party and change them whenever you want.
- mini games *on 'to do' list

- optional dungeons and side-quests.

Hmm...Pretty basic storyline....But we'll see.
PS. Are u maybe finnish?? 'cause Legenda is finnish and means legend.

I know it's pretty basic... First it was an epic story of an ancient evil that wants to rule the world *well, with some twist ^^; * and then I tried to modify it. And it's actually the intro. I wanted to avoid the 'cliche' story, but... I'll try to post some screens as soon as possible *maybe even today*

PS. No, I'm from Poland....

In Polish 'Legenda' has the same meaning ^^

The chipsets look okay and ther maps are decent. But why are there RTP characters in those shots? Are they just fillers until you find suitable charsets?

Yeah, the maps look really good, but I hope you rent planning on using the RTP graphics for the final.

I wanted to use tall charsets, but I couldn't find them... they're rare, and anything I found was... well, they were drawn in different styles - Lufia, Chrono Trigger or other. And I cannot draw charsets

It's hard to find something that'll match chipsets and other charsets I want to use. Now I'm trying to generate something with Charas.EX ^^

Leon_1990 Thanks a lot!! Actually I tried to make RPG game with RPG Toolkit and Verge, but I failed... And when I've found RPG Maker I thought that this time I'll make a game XD

Oh, and one more thing... does anybody knows where I can find nice ice cave chipset? But I'm looking for something NOT ripped from game...

Will this do? I've used it before and the maps turned out quite good, and with your skill (i still dont believe this is your first rpgmaker game btw

It IS my first game in rpgmaker

I found this program during my summer break last year and started making 'Legenda'. And I was learning how to use rpgmaker... ^^;

Leon_1990 thanks but I already have this chipset ^^; I think it's a little too white...

Of course there will be an english version!! But first I must finish ending cutscene, add some mini games and change a little Dark Forest map - it looks a little empty... And then I'll try to translate everything

Scripting: 95%
Charsets: 20% *I'm still working....
Mini-games: 15%
Translation: 0% *I'll translate everything after I finish the rest...

...so 'Legenda' is made in 85% *if anybody likes math XDD
