By empty wallet I meant I have no money to buy an external floppy drive for my mac. Someone at apple thought not giving the iMac a floppy drive was a good idea. That guy should die.

Okay, I had an epiphany. (Oh my god I know what epiphany is! I think...)


I was thinking that since Sengal weilds the Hades Bane that he'd have two battle animations. When he's equipped with the Hades Bane, he's got the D arm with a whole set of Hades only moves. Then when you equip him with a steel sword he uses his left arm with a special set of normal moves. And instead of buying new swords you just have a blacksmith fold the steel and you can give it attributes by folding it with special items, like Prusce (another magic tree, not as strong as the Kao) bark for magic strength, dwarven steel for extra durability, glowing magma for a heated blade, etc. So, what'd ya'll think of these? I'm redoing Sengal's battle so I figured I'd ask.

So you mean instead of buying new items you just get upgrades?

Now that you mention it, it seems like it'd be an obvious thing to do, but I've never actually seen it in RPG maker.

Just thought I'd say screens will hopefully be coming soon. And to add that pubs are going to actualy be useful. When you go into a pub you can buy a round of drinks and it will show a scene where the party goes over infrmation they know and can set you on the right path if you get lost. And that I've set it up so that the item you use to cure darkness is whiskey which you can only buy, you got it, in a pub.

New feature in the works. You can train the chars in different "Styles". Now as said before, pubs will have a use. When in a pub you can "rent out" the back room for so much money and have one char train anoher in their style. Ex. Eiphen has a fencing style and Ryoko has a japanese style (I dont know them). When you go into the pub you can select who to teach and who to train. After a set amount of times, the student will learn the new style. Of course, since Hrein has a heavy blade he can't learn fencing and eiphen has such a small blade he can't learn berserker style. But you get the point.
