Knight Trials

I need some info. What three things should I man have to go through in order to become a knight? I need ideas for three trials. The third trial is the trial of love, or the trial of the mountain. Anyone have any other ideas? I need trials for a desert, a forest, and, if you can think up something better, a trial for the mountain. Anyone think, though, that the trial of love should be one of the others?

Here is the order of the trials: Forest, desert, mountain.

If this isn't a request, then just move it where it should go.

Trial of the Forest- find a flower or capture some rare bird
Trial of the Desert- find a gem in an obscure oasis
Trial of the Mountain- Climb to the top, duh

Well, that's not really what I'm looking for...It's more like I'm looking for names for the trials...like I said one of them was the Trial of Love. You get my meaning? Although, that idea is an interesting one.

They should all be equal. And yeah, that's what I was gonna say. My reasoning was:
Desert - You have to pretty smart to get through a desert
Forest - Where else do you find nymphs, fairies and elven princesses? Sounds like love to me.
Mountain - Obvious

Interesting idea, there. Although, I should say something real quick. The main character's fianceé lives in the desert...and I want the trial of love to have something to do with her. Any ideas on how to work that in with a forest?

A very interesting idea. I'll try to experiment with it, but I can't guarantee anything. Right now I'm having a hard enough time with backgrounds as it is...I don't suppose anyone could try to draw me up some backgrounds, could they? I'm horrible at drawing...I can provide a "rough map" if you want...

Note: I am currently using AGS for this game, but any help I could get with backgrounds would be much appreciated. One artist isn't enough to work an entire game of backgrounds...Also, the backgrounds need to be 320X240 if anyone is interested in helping. If anyone is, then thanks in advance!

A knight is a warrior of the king...
What could be done?
* Hard training
* Loyalty to the king
* The wo/man who bring victory of a battle...

I don't think any quests are given though... but why not.

Save a princess(Or something likely)
Defeat dragons and demons(Which could lead to the princess thingy...)
prove worthy of the title "Knight"(Which means: Do what ever is worth it to become a knight...)

There are MANY ways... You could always make up some kind of knight too!

But if the trials is put that way...
Destroy an evil spirit that haunts a forest - Forest
Save a village that suffers from thirst - Desert
Slay a Dragon - Mountain

Just an idea... Could be used in order to save the one you love if s/he have been kidnapped... I don't what you think but...

You know what, those are good ideas. The mountain one you have there was originally going to be my idea, but after 2 years, you tend to forget about things like that. ^^"

I like some of your other ideas, too. I'm thinking that the Trial of Love can be the Trial of the Mountain, and I can have Andrea be trapped by the dragon, and thus William has to go save her. I like the other ideas, too. I think I'm gonna stick with your ideas for the Mountain and the Forest, but so far I haven't seen any good ideas for the Desert...unfortunately. Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure something out.
