Wishes of the Past (Now with Screens)

This is my new RPG, Wishes of the Past.

Jeno, the heir to a vast fortune, awakens one night to fighting. He finds his father fighting the Deviliso Pirates, a fierce band of pirates. His father is slain, and Jeno hides while the Pirates steal the fortune.

No one believed Jeno's story, and so, broke and homeless, he joined a Gypsy camp.

Years later, Jeno has forgotten the incident. Later, he accidentally kills some Gyspy-Haters, and must hide from the Authority, the police force of the world. However, after killing the Gypsy-Haters, Jeno is confronted with a shocking image: A dead man on a floor.

Jeno hides in the Gypsy Hideaway, a sanctuary for the Gypsies. After some events, the Hideaway is attacked by the Authority, and Jeno and his friend, Zalo, escape.

The two flee through the woods outside the city. In the woods, they meet a creature. The creature is a gambler, and, through losing a bet, gives up an artifact to the two.

In a nearby town, it is revealed that the artifact grants one wish to its holder. Zalo wishes for a great amount of money, and he gets it. Jeno is unsure of what to wish for.

However, he does not have much time to ponder as Jeno and Zalo find themselves being pursued by a mysterious man named Xerve.

Who is this Xerve? What will Jeno wish for? What are Xerve's intentions? Who is the man in Jeno's visions? Find out in Wishes of the Past.


Characters:

Jeno
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Bio: Once the owner of a vast fortune, he finds his life turned upside-down after an attack on his home.

Zalo
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Bio: A born-Gypsy, he escapes from the Authority with Jeno. He always hopes for something good to happen with his life.

Nicholas
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Bio: Living in a secluded village by the sea, he is one of the Patrol Men, scouting to shoreline for pirates. Co-organizer of the Pirate Defense.

Elena
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Bio: Lives in the village with her friend, Nicholas. Co-organizer of the Pirate Defense.

Leo
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Bio: A member of the Ongno tribe, he strives to escape from his "paranoid village."

Brydo
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Bio: He is one of the soldiers in the Ongno village, and is sent out with two others, Tari and Dey, to find Leo.



It would be great to have help with resources, particularly facesets, chipsets, and battlecharsets.

nice story and all. But everyone keeps saying new RPG. How come nobody releases games?? ive only seen some demos.

Maxine: I'm almost done planning the whole story out, which is an important thing in games to do.

If you don't plan out a story from beginning to end before you start making the game (events and the like, that is), you can mess up quite a bit.

Out of a quick note, there won't be any screens available for a while, mainly due to the lack of resources. Hopefully I'll be able to get some help with facesets and battlecharsets.

They are definitely not the "steal your wallet" people.

To describe them, they are kind, pretty intelligent people. They are best known for their skills in magic. Unfortunately, the non-magic users are jealous and treat them as the outcasts of society (Even though they can easily learn magic).

They mainly work for their food. They don't beg, but don't have the resources or respect to get a good job. Essentially, most of the females put on dances, and the males entertain people. Despite the fact that the Gypsies are not well-liked, many people pay money to witness these perfomances.

However, the Gypsy-haters are the extremely jealous non-magic users who believe they can never learn magic, and want the Gypsies gone.

Well, you sometimes lose inspirtaion, it says ias your title The Noob, so you probablly know what its like to give up on games, CoolZidane I am guessing won't ;)
