You're the only one with this problem, and one opinion is not nearly enough to change anything.  If you dont like it, dont reply or just forget about the game.  Simple as that.  No need to bitch after every screen.

Yes, back on topic.

Um...this second demo will be quite different.  As where the first demo introduced the Zylacs very quickly, you dont even hear about them in this one.  But they will turn up and be a major element in the game.  Also, as for the Soul Flames, they weren't mentioned in the first one, well, they are mentioned in the second one.  Haha.  All changes are for the better though. :D

Actually, I remember seeing a book in the castle library about the soul flames, but you are right besides that - looking forward to the second demo, I liked the first very much!

Yes, it was lightly mentioned.  But that was about it. :D

Thanks, with the help I'm getting, the demo is getting closer and closer.

I really wish you would shut it Leon. Your past three posts have all had insults to me. Anyways, hypocracy has nothing to do with it. Do you seriously expect me to get bashed by the lot of you and not reply? You'd do the exact same thing.

Ok, the game looked promissing, that's the only reason that I looked at it in the beginning. If you don't like that I think your maps lack detail, or just don't want to hear things you need to improve on, then I just won't comment on any screen shots you post from now on, easy as that. I'm not really up to date on the plot of the game, so what exactly is a soul flame?

Not all chipsets have the same capacity as Mac & Blue when it comes to details...or graphics in general for that matter. If a map lacks details, it might be because the chipset doesn't offer much. Mac & Blue are great chipsets but vastly overused which is why people go search for other options rather than being unoriginal or falling into the common crowd.

I really don't want to be on this topic of chipset usage anymore. So, just don't say anything about it from now on if you guys want me to shut up about it. But, if you continue to ask why my opinion is as it is, or attempt to contradict what I say, I will reply.

In responce BSW:

A: I edit my chipsets to be able to contain more. If a chip doesn't contain enough, he should do that too.
B: If he wanted originality, then rudra, ff6, and etc isn't the way to go.
C: Common crowd? Dude, half the games on here contain Rudra chips.
D: Rudra has more capacity then mac and blue. It shows, as most of Link Forces better maps are in Rudra chips.

I used Mac & Blue as an example just like you use Final Fantasy. I didn't target anyone about anything wether it's about chipsets or originality. If you put names over my words, that's your problem, not mine.

As far as the common crowd is concerned, it meant using what is vastly overused and not the user who uses them...different targets here. If you edit your chipsets, good for you; you are dedicated.

I don't intend to continue this any longer for I'd rather not spam up a thread with useless arguing. What matters is not what YOU or I think but what LinkForce thinks. If he like the maps the way they are, so be it. You have the right to point out that some maps might be empty but not argue about it endlessly in hope that it'll help. Point it out and if he decides not to change anything, let it go. That simple.

I'm done with this.

No, I want you to continue to reply Meiscool, I need constructive critisism.  But, I just dont want you to rate my game at such a high level is all.  I hope that explains what people are upset at.

Meiscool, if you want to catch up on the story, go to my website.  It can be acessed through my sig.  But, I'll explain what the Soul Flames are though.

Basically, they are very old Relics that helped to create the world.  Nobody knows who or what created them, but they are being researched.  They were once combined, and used to create order and control.  But instead created chaos, and unleashed Zylacs onto the world.  In present day, they are kept secret from the world by Top-Government agencies.  But that wont stop those Evil-ders.  ;)

Thats basically it.

Ok. Let me see if I've got it right.

The world was peaceful, but the anger-peacemakers didn't like it and rose to power legally. Then, they broke apart and evened out. The poor where exiled to the underground, and the rich the surface. Then, the soul flames were hidden on the surface, and the star stones in the earth to balance the power? Then, main character gets washed up to the surface because of his friend, and the guards see him and try to arest him, and because of that, he has to take the underground passage through snake caves? Hope I got is right  :p

Hm...you got some right.  The Star Stone was made in hopes of balancing everything, but instead backfired, and unleashed the deadliest of things.  The main characters friend "purchases" a deed that allows the main Hero a day on the surface world.  He gets wrongfully accused, and defends himself.  He meets with his friend, and they decide to see their hometown for the one day he has.  The border is blocked, so they have to cross through Serpent Cave.  Along the way, you see a few cutscenes of the two soldiers pursuing after them.

Thats basically it.  Theres a ton of stuff that happens in between though.

Wow. Ok, though I agree that meiscool took things a bit too far, I do agree with him on the fact that the maps could use some work. One thing you have to take into consideration though, is not everyone is great at map making. Everyone has their own expertise in something, and usually something they're not so good at either. For example, my expertise is map making and storyline (my new storyline that is ;)). But I can't do advanced coding for crap. Though it may be easy for someone else (I'm looking at you Warxe XD), it's really complicated for me. So, what I'm trying to get at is, even though you think that mapping is an easy thing to do, it may not be for Linkforce. So yeah, just wanted to say that.

Anyway, towards the game, I'm glad that you're not having the Zylac attack right away, because that was rather sudden. Good luck with the game making, I'll be sure to try the demo when it comes out. ^^
