Everyone who has ever played an MMORPG has come across n00bs. While many n00b experiences we would rather forget, there are some that are so funny or ridiculous that they are well worth remembering.

So, post your n00b encounters here so that we may all learn from them. Or something.

If you hate noobs, then DON'T play Runescape. It's got more noobs than a.... uh... thing that has a lot of noobs in it. Everywhere you go there's at least one scammer. >_<

Plus some people try to buy some of my rare items with a bronze dagger (one of the worst weapons in the game) and a wooden shield (the worst shield in the game).

And half the people don't know what "k" means. For example, I try to sell something for 50k and they try to buy it for 50gp. >_<

 Then there are the people who don't believe me when I say I am lv99 woodcutting. If they don't believe me, I don't get mad; it's the idiots who call me a noob and a liar before looking me up in the high score list.
Runescape is a great game, but there are a TON OF NOOBS. But busting scammers is so fun. XD

EDIT: Oh yeah, and in Dark Eden, there are quite a few uber-high-level people who like to stand at the entrance to a dungeon casting some high-level spell everywhere, killing everybody that enters, even if they are the same race. Then there are the people who use speed hacks (run and attack REALLY fast) and infinite HP hacks (self-explanitory).

Hmmmm... well this is an online game called Unreal Tournament, but a similar problem. He calls himself a superior gamer but here's the log...

Me: What!? You can't use a non-player that way!! -_- Your lame!

Guy: So what? I'm winning aren't I?

Me: Not on your own skill, lamer.

Yeah it's a FPS but a cheater like that is a form of n00b because they can't use skill, they rather use well... a spy. And that isn't the intention of a spectator I'll tell you that, it's merely an observing user who wants to get a look on the action.

Counterstrike isn't an rpg but there are so many idiots.
The admins kick out anyone who doesn't suck because they think they're hacking.

On Starcraft there were a couple of idiots who said "Hey I ********** know what you did you ******!"

Me: "Yes... I did eat cat stew"

to humor them and then they go:

"Yeah! You sick **********" and so on...

Then I had some cheaters and backstabbers. In one map I had a little event set up that would destroy their base in case they did crap to me XD. I ended up using it XD heheheh... cheater got ticked off. And I laughed and laughed. "Base Asplode!"

Seriously, some of the people on EO. Most of the members are nice, kind and helpful people who don't do anything wrong. However, when there's a n00b, there really is an uberly-uber-n00b.

 I find strange that n00bs usually call US n00bs.... I have many stories, mostly about Tibia, nut I can't write righr now, I'm too busy playing Tibia, while I write this.

I often encounter so called "noobs" when I play... Some examples here (I won't mention names)

Me: Accept trade...

Guy: ur green armor!!!

Me: Offers full set of adamant.

Guy: Offers about 15 Feathers, 2 Cabbage, 3 cow hides, 12GP and Bronze Dagger
Acept acept!!!!

Me: I want atleast 50k!

Guy: *Declines trade* It is worth it!

Me: *Walks away* No it's not...

The first one happened all the time when I played RS.

Second one happened at least 97890178913506924316537 times a day when I played RO (When I was a Acolyte and Priest)

Many times when I PK someone in Runescape, they send me a message asking for their stuff back. @_@ Or, as I'm kickin someone's ***, they say "Cut it out" or "Dont kill me plz". If they don't want to get killed, then they shouldn't be in the wilderness. (for those who haven't played it, the wilderness is the area made for PKing)

And I hate when people try to buy items that can't be traded.

"How much 4 ur mime mask"
"It's untradable."
"Plz"
"It won't let me trade it."
"Cmon plz i pay good $$$$$"
"I said i can't trade it. The game won't let me put it up in the trade window."
"Omg noob just click on it and it will go up"
"No, it will show me a message saying that it won't let me trade it."
"W/e noob, go **** ur moms ***s."

Heehe. N00b stories. I have millions of them in FPS games. But I have a few funny ones.

MOHAA (In this one we were very tactiv with out team) (PS. I don't use shortcuts, I just write the whole sentance)

N00b: Charge! *runs through the middle, a nade is thrown to him* Hey! What's this? *stops* *get's blown*
Me: Idiot.
N00b: *next round starts* You are all cheaters! I be leaving! *stays around for 10 rounds teamkilling and then leaves*

Me: N00b. Stop the nade spamming. Use your gun.
N00b: *starts throwing nades at me*

I agree on the RS thingy, thats a sucky game with sucky(n00b) players.

But the most known one is World Of Warcraft:

Me and my friend is teaming, were running into this cave with lvl4 Trolls (we are about lvl 5 both) and this is the first dungeon for some races.
We run and kill some Trolls, we see this Dungeon Chest(a chest that sometimes spawn in the dungeon) and we fight the monsters around it.

Me: Roll-45(100)
Friend: Roll-32(100)
Me: Mine then !
*Open the chest and pick the stuff*
Guy: You mother&/%/(%/er that was miine!
Me:You didn´t roll and you wasn´t here
Guy:Stealing &%¤%ing N00B!
Me: How mature...
Friend: Roll next time
Guy: &&¤#¤ you!
*he leaves the cave*

This is just n00bing, no big deal but please! the things in a lvl1 dungeon is only crap.

And the n there are those true kill stealer n00bs:

As a mage you can do a frost nova, if you are the first one to hit target, your the one that earns the exp and stuff.

Me and my 2 friends are running in a Murloc camp cuz we have a quest to kill them.

Me: There they are!finaly
Friend1:Great
Friend1: but they are lvl8 and we are 7
Friend2:Doesn´t matter, there are 3 os us !
Me: Lets do this then
*lvl 5 mage run in to the middle of camp doing a nova that hit everyone*
Me: Not again!
Friend1:Need some help here!
Friend2:Ok ill heal
Me:No! He got them returning and attack us!!!
*kills them, doesnt earn anything.

The escape n00bs.

Some peoples are really anoying and doesn´t kill the monsters that are attacking them, this leads to that you have a group of 5 after you until a ceartan location kind of.

We are on quest in this cave.

*Me and friends is slaying monsters to earn exp and money, one of those monsters is hard so we use ranged to get one of them close*
Me:going great now! 20s
Friend: only 9s..
*se this player running with 4 Wendigos/Yeti behind him, but he doesn´t make it and get killed, this leads intop that they are returning to their posts*
Friend:No they are attacking me again!
*They atart to slauther my friend by surrounding him and hit repeatly, in the very end we both dies....

And the last one is the Duel N00bs!

Of course you can duel, but some classes are better the others List:

Warrior-really great! They can only attack in close combat but has really high Hp and ATK,can have best arors

Rouges-really great!Can enter stealth that makes them invisible and you can walk behing your oponent doing backstad or better skill wich doest great damage and they doesnt suffer to much in CC.

Paladins-really great!a mix of warrior and priest.best armors,healing,inmortality spell ect

Shamans-really great!its really good! strong spells and totems that do all kind of good crazy crap!

Some of those are extreamly anoying to play against, thats all
and there are those who are like 5-10 lvls higher then you who like to duel.

My first point of action was to point this out over and over until she left the room crying, but she never realised I was pointing out her mistake. a dissappointment as the crowd went wild.

Hmmm. The only memory I have is playing EQ.

I am all healed up and run out to kill some Crushbone Orcs when I see "TRAIN TO ZONE!!!!!!" come up in the chat window.

Next thing I now, some loser with SOW runs past me and I'm getting stunned by D'Vinn and other dudes, resulting in my death and the unfortunate corpse run.

Of course, that was when I was like, lvl10 and playing still.

Counter strike,
I joined a server, started off good, not pwning too many of em, then some guy joins and starts to really pwn. Two kids were the admins, they were so obviously like 12 or something and really sucked. They said "shut up jerk" if you even Loled at them, they banned him after a while. I asked why they kicked him and they replied "He was a complete retard!"

...seriously whats up with that?

And this one time in WoW, i was walking around a low level place, and some lvl 11 guy walks up to me and asks me for 50 silver, which isnt something you just give to anyone. I said "no" and he kept bugging me for a while. He followed me , when I was stopping for like two seconds he attacked a monster like five levels over him, which he cant beat, and started screaming "HELP! HELP!" so I walked up to the monster and killed it. He kept following me, asking me for money a few more times, then attacked a monster again, yelling the same thing. So i started doing in game emotes, like laughing at him and stuff, he died and whispered me "OMG WHY DIDNT YOU HELP ME!!"

And i have seen lvl 60s in wow (the max lvl) who misspell their own class.

Me: I'm a rogue, I have a skill called "Stalk" Allows me to walk wile hiding, idiot...
