The Final Spike
« on: September 12, 2005, 11:56:08 PM »
The title, and the topic is dedicated to my hair, which is my sign of originality and uniqueness, so it is fairly important to me.  My hair is a messy spike, and is pretty much unique, due to how it is set up.  My hair basically says "I'm unique and creative and I don't give a s*** if you don't like it."  Unfortunatly, the ONLY hairgel that works well is no longer being manufactured.  I've tried over 23 different types, but no other gel works the way this one does.  So, basically, my one sign of originallity is about to disappear.  On Monday, I expect my gel to run out, and that will be "The Last Spike"  It's not nessecarily the hair I'll miss, it's my sign of uniqueness.  If you think this is stupid, my hair is currently spiked up, so basically, I don't care if you think it's stupid.

Have any of you ever lost your one sign of uniqueness, and understand why this is important to me?

I don't expect you to cry for me at all, I was merely stating my situation, and was curious to know if anyone else ever lost their mark of originality.  I would think it was stupid to, if I wasn't loosing my..well, life signature you can say.  I've always been the "Tall dude with spikey hair"  Now I'm tall dude with attempted spikey hair but instead it came crashing down.

I've heard that Elmers Glue works quite well.  Have you tried that?

Am I suppose to be a cliché boy and say that it's the inside that counts? Nah....
There are more ways of being unique.

If by losing your "sign of individuality" you lose what is interesting about you, then you have no personality. Go read a book or something.

Have you tried using the strongest gel you can find and using lots of hairspray? New Wave works for my old style and my new style.

I spiked my hair once six years ago, hated it, never did it again.
