Halloween
« on: October 13, 2005, 03:23:43 PM »
I'm not too sure of the average age here but I'm sure there are older people who are still young at heart ^^.

What's everyone going as for halloween and what are you doing (party, trick or treating, handing out candy)? Any interesting halloween stories? Any old pictures you want to show?

This year I'm going to a party and dressing up as Da Qiao from Dynasty Warriors (which is funny because I do'nt even like the game that much...just the clothes...)

You look like my grandmother.
edit: when she was young. You don't look like you're 80.

Last night I had a dream that Zerlina and I were pirates. It was... beautiful.

My most amusing Halloween story is that someone I've never met in real life dressed up as the main character from my game Control of Destiny 2 a few years ago. Blue hair and all. That's a real ego boost.

It's been suggested that I go out as Sai'Kar, but that would DEFINITELY be opening up Pandora's Box...

O_o

Doubt I'll be doing much this year. Anyone comes to my house, I have the baton rounds and toilet paper ready. Since what happened last year, they've stopped coming.

Halloween is not celebrated here, but we have our own version called "Sint Maarten" in which the children have sticks with lights in a self-made paper basket instead of costumes. I would rather celebrate Halloween, ah well.

I'm putting on a ski mask and wear all black, and sneak into people's houses and take a candy without being caught.

The last time I trick-or-treated was 8th grade, but I didn't go to many houses because I was getting less into it. Last year I hung out with my bro, his girlfriend (soon to be my sister-in-law I think) and a couple of their friends. It was cool - I'm into the habit of going to different hayrides and haunted houses now. We set up an awesome display on halloween night. The halloween theme playing full blast, a strobe light, my bro being Michael Meyers, and I was some random thing with a scythe, could've been death, I don't remember. We also watched the original Halloween and the recent Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Too bad good scary movies aren't seen too often recently. The first Ring was the last good one I know of. Oh, yeah and I forgot to mention we got the little pumpkin carving kits and carved awesome stuff.

Yeah, so I hope to have as good of an October this year as last year. Apparently I'm going to a couple hayrides/haunted houses this weekend, so that should get me started. Well, anyway...

That was Moose. He dressed up as Mario, then jumped out at little kids and stole their candy while saying "IT'S-A ME, MARIO!". Something like that.

Hallowe'en... eh. I haven't gone out for like 4 years, and I don't think that's going to change this year. I'll probably hand out candy or something.
