My heart skipped a beat when I read the first part of that. I thought you were serious. I was so ready to bash the **** out of you... lol.

As for ACDC, they're not bad, it's just that they get kind of repetitive after awhile. I just hate people with these generic band shirts with bands like ACDC, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, and others, and can't name 1 song from the band.

hmmm...well kurt with a K. Was not an especially great musician. But a great song writer. He was super with melodies, the evidence still standing today.  And some of the music you guys caterglorized...lol...Stone temple pilots were 90's alternative. As was silver chair. Just becuase you hear a heavy guitar riff thats slow, doesn't make it grunge.

mer and VH and  is not classic rock. Classic rock is the stones, beatles, animals, moody blues, floyd, dylan...thats classic rock. Girls girls girls is like hair band....

Classic rock is more UK blues based. Sorry to bust your bubble.
Rock'n'Roll was before that, which was a whited up version of rock'abilly which is a loose form of jumpy jazz scales.

I think the best form of rock, is all those types kinda based around eachother. But what do I KNOW!? I'm just a musician who's made this stuff her life...lol. feel free to f**k in the bushes.

It depends. Some of Nirvana's stuff is awesome, some is boring. Same with any band really, I don't like any one in particular, there's always a few bad songs. Same, in fact, with music genres in general. I like all genres, because I can tell when a piece is good no matter what the genre. So yeah, some grunge is good. Some is bad.

Well the oldest I like is 80's, and I love that. Iron Maiden, Artch, Vandenberg to name a few.

That cd didnt come out untill 1997 I think, but Kurt commited suscide in 1994. And yea so everyone knows some nirvana cds were grudge music.

I like all music that can fall under "rock" of some kind, I just like certain ones more than others. Grunge is kinda... grungy. For the most part. And I don't mean that in a good way. Most of it seems to lack a melody. But there is some good stuff. And no, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin don't suck. Although the lead singer for AC/DC DOES have a creepy voice, it still works out alright. I'm a little conflicted with how you all seem to have reacted. So I'll leave it with this: SOFT ROCK IS NOT ROCK!!! IT'S ****ing UGLY AND DISGRACEFUL TO ADD "ROCK" AT THE END!!! I know nobody said anything about soft rock, but that needs to be said whenever "rock" comes up. Sorry to have rocked the forum.

AC/DC is great, if not for the fact that EVERY song has some sexual innuendo in it.

How is that not awesome? Given the dog a bone, Big Balls, Dirty Deeds, all have some sexual innuendo somewhere in there.

EDIT: Alice in Chains isn't grunge.....
