give it a few days...just making base graphics. Ive got a programmer Collaborating with me on that project as well.

Its amazing how much more a guy can get done when he teams up with somebody and actually follow the required steps to making a game.

I may even be able to get a graphics demo up tonight, if things go well

This is Parasomnia, right? Looks very interesting.

Don't suppose you'll be needing any creepy ambience/sound design? That's kind of my bag.

I also like working with ambients... unfortunately, they're almost all ripped from game files.  For example, I found an archive of ALL the Resident Evil 4 sounds.  Helluva lot better than the handful of ambient sfx in RPG maker.

Ambience... in MIDI? Are you high?

This is something I knocked up in about an hour while looking at your screenshots. I could probably make it loop somewhere. This is a snippet from a longer piece.

I'm no Eric Brosius, but give me a setting and I can most likely do you some ambience to fit.

I'm talking about the low-quality WAV loops they included.

Man, I forgot about those. Good old RPG Maker. Memories.

I like what youve done here draggy....only problem is filesize.

The game is played out through a series of small maps. Most of them wont have much for sound...The sounds I DO need are short, ambient loops. Being a flash game, load time is an issue, and as such file sizes for sounds that in the neigborhood of 1MB are WAAAY too big. The player wont be on one screen for more then say 30 seconds...on average about 15.  The music would be used to give an intensifying atmosphere from room to room. So rather then One track, that gets progressivly creepier....I would need a few small tracks, that loop, each getting progressively creepier. That way, I can build up effect from room to room, and keep the load times down.

I really like what youve done. I tried the track out on my title screen and it was awesome. Im so close to having a releaseable demo (all the menus are coded...items, inventory etc....working on finishing the demo scene, and have some dialogue bugs to fix....Im hoping to have a mechanics demo published this evening)

Can do, Gem. Once I figure out the looping it's smooth sailing. Consider me on it.

Drop me a message on here or whatever if there's any location-specific sounds or other things you'd like.

EDIT: Guess what, looping in FL Studio is harder than it first seems. It cuts things off wrong. I'm trying to find a workaround but I can't say how long it'll take.

I personally think that in this day and age, the majority of PC users own at least half a terabyte
of storage space on their computers. When you install a game such as Crysis, it uses up about
10GB just to sit there and exist. People then complain about "large" RPG Maker games being
about 80MB. Hell! I'm willing to download a 1GB RPG Maker game if it's good enough!

Think about it like this: Would you buy a 30MB iPod and just listen to MIDI files on it? (If it
supported them) I sure as hell wouldn't! If a game's made to a high enough standard, it deserves
to have a stellar soundtrack to complement it. If it's an awful RTP game but contains the entire
FFX soundtrack and comes to 300MB, then it's a different story. See what I'm getting at, though?

Use as much music as you want. I'll still download it!

EDIT: Oh no, Dragonium's music file takes up 1.9MB! That's 0.00000095% of my hard-drive capactity! Jesus!

zuhane, Benimi is programming in flash, which has to preload a bunch of stuff. So the file size does matter there. But I agree. I'm going majorly mp3 on Charas Heroes mostly for this reason. I'll probably seperate the music and the main game into two seperate downloads so that people don't have to redownload the mp3s every time when they're not changing.
