Wow. This is pretty heavy-handed for a forum discussion. If I were you, I would (as several other people have suggested) inform the police and let them take over. Then things will all get sorted out. As long as you do so anonymously. Otherwise, you could end up with a crazy, hunterous, relentless killer/revengemeister on your hands. And I would know from both sides of that situation... Uh... Trev, I usually never say stuff like this, but you're an F-ing moron. You do know that if this guy murders someone, you can be linked to it by not reporting it or trying to stop it? Not only will you're friend go to jail for murder, you can go to jail as well.

You know what my advice is? Go to the police, tell them the story of the raping or whater happened, and let the courts decide from there. No man has the right to take someone's life into their own hands, and I mean no one. Seriously, who are you or your friend that you could possibly think that you have the right to take away someone's life! The jury is a group of people elected to take a good look into the situation, let them handle it.

If you're friend hasn't done any thing yet, good. Do whatever you can to talk him out of it, if you can't, well you'll be in a tough situation. Report you're friend or risk the both of you going to jail.

I can't even start to list all the things wrong with this topic. I could easily write paragraphs on it.

Anyway, hopefully its not too late and you can still fix this. I hope you do the right thing.
