Are you retired?
« on: January 06, 2006, 03:59:46 PM »
Yeah, I´m retired from that. It´s been a while since I don´t mess up with RPG Maker...I just come here because of you guys.

What about you? Still in action, or sitting in your swing chair? (the chair that swings, not the one where swings are...done.)

I still use it, but only once a month, and usually I make an map/npc, think it's crap, and quit...

I still mess around with rm2k. I still don't get it 100%, but when I do I'll resume my game.

I have not worked much on Rpgmaker lately, since I can't finish a single game, but I still come here sometimes to see what's new. This is quite a good place, so I don't see a reason to leave, even if I decide to stop making Rpgs.

I retired, but I'm back with a vengeance.

Kinda.

Im working, nearly all the time*.

First im trying to get everything right, putting everything in a "Demo" game**.

And when everything is going smothly i pray to the earthmother for natures blessing that my compz wont break again***.

If it doesn´t break...Well i never got that far but i guess that i´ll create a new project in wich i paste everything and voilá a Rpgm game!

Well everything wont break again so i feel kind of safe now.****

*-When im not on practise, with friends, playing World of Warcraft, playing games, away from my Compz.

**-Everything right=Switches, monsters, items, Npc´s,varaibles, order, recourses ect.

***-I had 3 projects running when a virus infected my friends computer and loggod in msn and gave me a link and when i pushed it everything went black and i couldn´t get internet conection. So i asked my brother to put everything on a back-up before it was to late while i was trying to find another way then reboot. But i didn´t find any and everything ws reboted and when i put in the back-up i realised that my brother had put a shortcut to the folder so...There was nothing on it...

****-Sent my "Demo" to all my friends and another one have all the rpgm and ripped sheets stuff. So unless my Compz and all my friends computers break im safe.

Btw: I realised that insteed of my usual writing and get out of topic i put those little "*" things so in case anyone doesn´t understand or want to know more they can read it in the bottom of my post...(May the Earthmother be with you)

Define "retired". I'm still making sprites, brainstorming ideas, etc, but have no pc to work on. Meh.

Never actually used it. I just came here because I liked working on the occasional sprite.

I had, as base, that everyone here actually used RPG Maker and tried to make their games. And by retired I meant the person that doesn´t use the program anymore.

If you´re still messing up with the art, you´re retired from RPG Maker...

Osmose, I thought you used the program...and you were so active in the forums!

If I found the motivation, I could probably make my own game, but for now, I'm fine with doing occasional coding for whoever needs it.

I'm somewhat retired.  I'm still in gamemaking, just I'm not often using the RPG Maker for it.  I'm mainly using Realm Crafter (3D  MMORPG Maker).  Well, I don't come to the forum very often.  I've gotten re-addicted to GunZ and Conquer recently.

RPG Maker is teh suck. I don't make RPGs at all, but if I was, I'd definately use RPG Toolkit over RPG Maker.

I don't use it currently, but I've not retired, per se. I'm just trying to make a story first, then I'll bother with it. I'm trying to write my own book, novel, whatever. Even if it doesn't get that far, I'll do something with it.

i'm working on two games at once. A one game is a prequel to the first, which is a prequel to another game I didn't start...

so, no. Still doing stuff.
