Gah! I...I'm sorry!!!! Really!
« Reply #16 on: January 11, 2006, 04:07:46 PM »
...Sorry! I just wanted to see how you'd all react to having Sailor Moon in your party....about the two topics, that was an accident--my computer's tough to handle at times.....
...I'll pretend I never read the hurtfull stuff. Sorry for not explaining more, and I pretty much deserve it. However, I will explain...
...The main character is a kid named Djean-Karlo, who's learning magic with Sailor Moon, and is a Solar Boy. If your heads haven't exploded in confusion, or the sheer apathy you have for me, keep reading.
Ahem....It's about a guy named Akiko, who was a friend of Sailor Moon, InuYasha, the Get Backers, and a few other people, but the enemy of Dr. Wily, Djinn (I'll get to those later), and, last but not least, Sephiroth.

Now, his real enemy was a false-god named Xern (I can't decide on a name...first Xevin, then Xevani, now Xern...), and Xern's servants were demons called Djinn.
Okay, back to Akiko: he has three talents: One, he's psychic. Two, he's a great swordsman. Three, he can make people pull their hair out in exasperation without really trying (or noticing). Oh, and he's an alien. One day, six years ago, he died, two weeks after his wife died. You go off (armed with one of his swords) to find out the truth to what happened to him. Also, Tuxedo Mask, Kagome, your own friends (in the game), and a few other people start dissapearing...and you take it upon yourself to find them.

Such a convoluted plot...mixing One Winged Angels, Dog-Eared Half Demons, and Recovery Services...^_^

I'd like to mention that even though Serena (a.k.a., Sailor Moon) is rather important in the game (she was like Akiko's little sister, and she taught him magic, and is the main character's mentor), she is not a full-blown party member--you only use her for one fight (happy, Meiscool? I didn't want to do it, either, but that first Tonberry boss was too tough). Also, Sephiroth, although an enemy in the game, can be used as a party member for the last boss battle, but you have to go through a serious side-quest. It's all worth it for that Supernova attack, though...

Since you guys (*ahem*, SaiKar, Revolution 911) probably would want more info, though, I'll mention other party members and special guests. Remember, this game is 50% fanfic.

The Little Pet-Shop of Horros (Proto-Jenova is here)
Proto-Jenova (What, you though Shin-Ra made a perfect Jenova on the first try? This is the first, albeit, tougher, and more dangerous version--hidden under the Little Pet-Shop of Horrors!!)
Django (he doesn't join your party, oddly enough)
Street Fighters (you can fight some of them)
Dr. Wily
Serenade (from Megaman Battle Network 3)
Alpha (ditto)
Gundams
Ginji Amano and Ban Mido (they're one-time party members against Dr. Wily)
Hevn (Wily kidnaps her)
Paul (he owns the Honky-Tonk, and does nothing)
Tifa (she owns the Tifa's Seventh Heaven shop in the city--don't buy from her, because her items are too expensive)
Red XIII
Vincent Valentine
InuYasha (party member for one level)
Queen Beryl (...Sailor Moon comes up...you do the math...also, when you fight her, the song, Liberi Fatali plays lol)
Empress Dakki (from Soul Hunter. She kidnaps you...weird...)
Naraku....doesn't appear, because he's already dead in the game. It occurs after Kagome and InuYasha get married. Incidentally, their kid does come up
Chocobos (running around InuYasha's world)
Chocobo Man (got the idea from a charas that someone here made)
Edward Elric (play your cards right, and you can kick his full-metal butt)
Soma Cruz, Alucard, Yoko Belnades, and Julius Belmont (the mentors for a party member in the game)
Yuffie Kisaragi (annoys the hell out of you in one part)
Yomuko Readman (from R.O.D.--you have to protect her from the I-Jin at one point)
Shigeru Miyamoto (a disembodied voice who gives the intro for the next chapters in the game--he also controls the music)

I don't have much else. Another thing: The game is one part action, one part drama, two parts comedy. In one scene, you re-create the Aerith-death scene with Sephiroth, but then, before he kills the 'Aerith' (Yomiko), when 'Cloud' (Djean-Karlo) says, '...Wait a second...this isn't right...'
Sephiroth: Yeah!...She doesn't have any materia!

So, you see, like all fanfic, either you laugh with it good-naturedly, or laugh at it because it's immature. Either way, it's my game, and I like it. PS: I'd like to reiterate that the Sailor Scouts are only that important for, like, five chapters. I think the whole game will have about more than twenty-five.

Oh...and did I mention that after all that happens, Sailor Moon is one of the last bosses?

PS: I'm sorry again for the two-post--that was an accident--, No, I can't post screens because I'm such a nOOb (I don't know how :-( ), there's not much 'Sailor Moon Transforming', because it only happens once, and it's in a comic way (as in, a 'hazing' way), I'm very sorry for wasting your time with that first post, I was trying to be funny, and I'll never do it again (promise); I have to agree, although hurtfull, you guys can make insults funny (you could write a sitcom with that stuff!); let me remember: the game isn't about Sailor Moon or Sephiroth, it's about Akiko--they just come up and fight (against and/or alongside) you; and, I thank you for being honest. But, now that you read (most) of the plot, what are your opinions now?

PS: Please forgive me...seriously...I'm real sorry for wasting your time, and it doesn't feel like I'm really doing any better with this lame apology. Wanna shake on it? (extends hand)

Well... It's definitely got a lot to it. So for that, It should be either interesting and fun or too overwhelming and confusingly hard. But, I'm curious to see how you realyl intend to throw so many people into one plot.

PS: Don't be so sorry, some ppl are just completely anti newb. They completely forget they were a newb once too. A lot of ppl won't even look at this thread because 1.) It's got a lot of words, 2.) It's a fan game, and 3.) It's made by a new member. All of them are petty reasons but w/e, can't control ppl.

I say, good luck!

...Whoa....And there was me thinking everyone was running off to get their anti-nOOb AK47's...
...Well, trust me, I intend to put all that stuff in the game, time, money, and CD-memory allowing. Thanks for hearing me out...
...Hehe...you know that you get to fight Bass, too, right?

PS: Forgot to ask...what's so bad about fangames? Do they all suck or something? If they do...then let me just say, mine might in terms of graphics, considering that the mayority of...uh...everything (except music) is RTP. Apart from that, only a few sprites are custom made (sephiroth, Tifa, Serena, Vincent, and a few other characters are from here, Charas).
PS: The 'Alex shooting me in the head thing'? A joke, as well. If he knew his site was used to create the worst thing ever thought by mankind (a game special-guesting Sailor Moon), he'd grab his shot-gun, and frag me, Halo-style  (joke, lol)

We hate fan games purely because they are unoriginal and never ammount to the real thing.

I don't like how this sounds. I think I liked it a little bit better before your explanation. I'm strongly anti-fangame, and generally against fanfics, so this sounds like a complete waste of time, energy, a thread, and originality (there's at least ONE plus side: I like your originality).
Of course, this is just me. Some people may enjoy this kind of thing, but not me, especially since you're combining about a million different things with no relation into one. Don't feel discouraged, I know what it's like to get negative criticism: I get some EVERY DAY. Just, next time, please be original. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a jackass, but I've just been pissed off by Meiscool, yet again. That ***hole sure can try your nerves at times...

I dont have a problem with fangames. no one is making me play them, or look at the threads for them. people ignore my threads all ****ing day, so i wonder how they can have time to call this a waste of time, seeing as there's other things that they could be doing.

okay, Meiscool, you're both being a major jackasses right now. If you don't like the game fine, but goin' off and callin' this guy a jackass n00b and saying we all hate his game, wtf is up with you? Sometimes you need to keep **** to yourself, no one wants to hear it.

I agree with Rev and Blaze, there's nothing wrong with fan games. No one had a prob with Kingdom Hearts and that came out just fine. Who would've thought? Mickey mouse and Cloud.

You bring up a good point about KH, dren. I mean, if someone on here were to say that they were going to combine Disney and Squaresoft(-Enix) characters to make a game, there would be a whole bunch of people who'd look down at just the idea. Just because it's made by a professional company doesn't change the idea, it just changes the turnout. And if the turnout is what matters, who is anyone to say anything before having had a chance to play?

Good luck with your project.

I hated Kingdom Hearts, so speak for yourself.

Plus, the company Squaresoft isn't a fan of Squaresoft, it is Squaresoft, thus not a fan-based game. Point rested, your point dren=wrong.
